    I Had a new 2013 jetglo too, paint issues, i sent pics to ric and they replied within a few hours also sent the same email to rossetti no reply !!!! here are photos of the issue. strange fault.

    dont be put off by the bass being made in mexico!!! quality is stunning as is the new preamp, lots of tone and versatility with this bass, had a local player from glasgow up to buy another piece of equipment , he had a go and was really impressed with the marcus. i think the mexico thing, is in the past, as good as any jap/usa bass.

    Hi Karl, these basses sound fantastic, the preamp is very powerful, , tons of bass too much to be honest!!! 2x9v batteries on the rear, fit and finnish second to none. its all here. weight it's no light weight a good ten pounds and more. would not be selling but been offered a lovely bass. so something has to go. George

    Marcus Miller new mexican model, new preamp, scratch plate design, this bass just sounds awesome it really does. only selling to upgrade. the bass is only around 6 weeks old and mint with fender gig bag. strung with Elixir strings.     That are my thoughts too White Cloud, i prefer a bass with a bit of weight, any heavy bass i have owned sounded great!!!

    I think the mexican marcus sounds awesome as is !!!! the output is awesome from the pickups, tons of tone , everything you would want, i can't think of a better bass you could buy for the money.

    LOL, cheers matt, this is a particularly nice 4003 , one of the lucky ones everything is right about it , most of the new rics i tried were unplayable, this one just had it straight away!!! i had a choice of 3 walnutburst at the time, this baby just blew the others away, it had a real thickness to the sound and a Great E string. now where was i .......... need to save up for a status and a wal !!!! cheers
