it was actually Herbie flowers that played the bass on that theme as well as others like the professionals the group laurie Johnson used was the Blue mink club. he has taken part in over 500 recordings for tv etc he also wrote the tune for the novelty hit Grandad for clive dunn. talented man. he used a 1960 jazz bass. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBXUP5GqYJs

I have a set o t3's. i owned the original pedals also 3 sets of those !!! the t3 is good in some respects sound wise they are close to the original but not exact, the original has that something extra that i can't expain. the originals are almost 40 years old i would not buy a set now they will be at the end of their lifespan. the t3 is around the same weight as the original they made a total of 1500 the original figure was 1000 but they sold so well they made another 500. they work , they have midi and very well made will they last 40 years?? i dont know, worth buying idf you can get hold of them.

I have just purchased a new Mcbook Pro Retina 15. Intel i7 quad core 2.6ghz, 512gb flash drive, 8gb ram, nvidea gt650m graphics which has been overclocked for the 2.6ghz retina 1gb memory gddr5. i use for eveything including audio recording Logic pro 9 and logic x, various softsynths and plug ins, works like a dream no problems what so ever, lot of money to buy but have to say worth every penny if you want hassle free top notch quality recording, i have tried pc recording , one word nightmare !!! GET A MAC cheers George

I Had a new 2013 jetglo too, paint issues, i sent pics to ric and they replied within a few hours also sent the same email to rossetti no reply !!!! here are photos of the issue. strange fault. -
dont be put off by the bass being made in mexico!!! quality is stunning as is the new preamp, lots of tone and versatility with this bass, had a local player from glasgow up to buy another piece of equipment , he had a go and was really impressed with the marcus. i think the mexico thing, is in the past, as good as any jap/usa bass.

Hi Karl, these basses sound fantastic, the preamp is very powerful, , tons of bass too much to be honest!!! 2x9v batteries on the rear, fit and finnish second to none. its all here. weight it's no light weight a good ten pounds and more. would not be selling but been offered a lovely bass. so something has to go. George

That are my thoughts too White Cloud, i prefer a bass with a bit of weight, any heavy bass i have owned sounded great!!!
