1. stunning. the logo positioning on the headstock is a nice touch.
2.
I'm very glad I bought the ones I did... They were all great basses, particularly the jb75s. It's good to play lots of different basses, it all helps you to work out what you like and don't like. For the price of a deko its well worth it for the experience. ... I've mostly learned how good HB gear is. Amazingly so IMO.
very fair! I know I'm still guilty at turning my nose up at gear as soon as I know it's not US/German/Japanese, but the HB was a real eye-opener in that sense
3. Are any deko owners having buyer remorse? My acoustic fretless 4 is nice and the only work that needs doing is the high action / nut slot deepening..... Fighting with myself whether I can justify keeping it (too many basses, and others are objectively better instruments)!!! Anyone else have this "problem"?
4. beautiful headstock joint and the rest of the bass aint too shabby great work!!
5. Have a Washburn guitar with BF and never noticed the difference. Instructions came how to intonate it - I don't have details now but as I recall you had to adjust intonation to be +/- a few cent at specific points, I guess to help other notes be more "in tune".....
6. Good result! I'll be happy to accept your W Thumb as commission
7.
i have a fender micro DI, its tiny, runs off of a normal 9v supply, and has a cab sim. I have it sitting ontop of my input/output buffer (brought off of mcgraham), only cause i really do need to get a bigger/second board.
do you use a Gameboy???? :-)
8. Nope, I am too far and no time. Someone on BC should take it though! :-)

10. Has something of a Bat-mobile / Argos fusion about it.
11. Looks like a Neve 1073 clone, minus the EQ. BAE is very good but $$$, Golden Age Project does a something that gets you most of the way there but more affordable.
12. Good comparison. The REDDI is my favourite, I just love the way it shapes the low end. On gearslutz I think someone described its sound as "wet titties"... and that actually makes sense....By the way the right channel was clipping in my headphones for all fingerstyle samples.
13. nice! btw, which X-over do you use - SFX X&M, or something else?
14. 73 years, assuming 2.5% inflation assumptions holds out in practice.
15. Third paragraph really makes it for me. My guess is that "we" are disgruntled parents.

17. beautiful bass - btw the Gallery's website notes this as having 34" scale....
18. excellent! I've been tempted by one of those, they do sounds great in demos :-)
19.
Useful insights.
+1
20. Agree, sound cutting out doesn't sound quite right...
21. SD's are excellent bass pickups, look to be rounding off a nice bass ....and I concur that even smaller knobs may be worth a try! cheers, Roman
