1.
You have REALLY pissed me off What IS your problem?
Look, you want to semi-secretly post a pic of a big titty lady and have a pop at the moderation of this forum because your beloved thread got closed, so you start another in the same vein, and another. You wanted to start a problem in that you hoped to polarise opinion to your side. You are a little upset that the most vocal don't really agree with you and you are a bit angry. May I suggest you reign in your temper a bit so you don't permanently harm some of the nice relationships with people you have on here? I have to say I've lot a titchy bit of respect for you tonight, but I'm sure I'll love you again tomorrow. Sorry Pete, but I have to say what I believe in, as you do too. Cheers, Nigel
 2.
I haven't hated the mods at all. I just thought the MILF deletion was stupid. That was my opinion. I'm really pissed off with this. My retaliation to the MILF thread was a complete pisstake. Couldn't you see that? What is your problem? Unbelievable.
Stop being a diva and get your priorities right. What did your missus put in your tea tonight, mate?? I can't believe you're behaving like this.
 3.
Probably for the attitude towards the mods and fellow BCers.
I think you are absolutely correct.
 4.
I absolutely cannot believe your attitude. Disgusting.
That's your problem Pete. Your 1970s attitude appears to be immutable so there is no way we're ever going to come to a compromise on this. And don't give me this "disgusting" nonsense like you're an outraged-on-principle Daily Express reader who's mildly surprised at the price of cauliflower these days.
 5.
I've just had this fro nan admin. f*** me... A couple of topics were closed because of their content, a clear reminder was given - you chose to ignore that reminder by posting a link to a female with more than ample cleavage - another provocative post. I'm afraid you've provoked an offiicial warning. Any future similar posts will result in a sanction.
Sorry mate, as much as I like you, and your band I might add, you are being a bit of a twat and this tactic of baiting the mods for their apparent "PC" attitude is really tired. You are making yourself look more and more like a probable finnbass emmigré.
 6.
Here's one... http://members.multimania.nl/bassman/distillate.jpg
I hope you are not turning into Bass Ferret mate.
 7.
My avatar is a Pic of Sgt Pinback from the film Dark Star, played by Dan O' Bannon, who I think looks like Tom Jenkinson, Squarepusher. Sigh.
Yul Brynner played Sgt Pinback? Something to do with his ears? I still don't get this joke man.
 8.
My attempt at Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick.
Jesus, you have such a natural playing style, you make it look effortless. I look like I'm chopping logs when I play. What's with that daft slapping thing in the middle though
 9.
I'd say £300 too.It doesn't have the kudos of MIJ /CIJ and neither the vintage status (yet).
Also, this is assuming it's all original, in near mint condition, and in a classic colour combination.
 10.
Can anyone give me a rough price on a P-Bass MIM circa 92 Cheers Steven
£300?
 11.
It's too late to what? Her stage school training has come in very handy to help her sound like Adele, Lilly and Amy, she's a genius.
Yeah but what's your point, Steve? Everyone has deep strong influences. You're not saying Adele, Lilly and Amy are innovators, are you?
 12.
I got them again recently in a nice little box set. They really are top stuff. Not a duff track on there.
Mrs silddx very kindly just bought me that boxed set! So far I'm loving it! Thanks very much for the tip mate
 13. Pixie Lott - some great songs on there, she has a lovely voice, but by christ it's horribly mastered. Florence and the Machine. Very, very good, enjoying very, very much!
 14.
Sorry, I know exactly what you mean. I had an absolutely cracking Rick 4003BB but after a night of playing it, I felt like I had arthritis. One of a small handful of basses I've hated having to sell.
That, my friend, is an absolute beauty! They are the most hideous instruments to play but the most beautiful to look at.
 15. Your fingers look pure and fresh, unsullied by the calluses I would expect from a bass player. If I was an ancient Greek I would have you perfumed and sent to my room. I think you should play more, an hour or two of hard playing/practicing everyday on the Ric. That should have you fully manned up within a couple of weeks.
 16.
Earlier this week I was asked by a couple of Basschatters more charitably minded than me, "Are you planning to run a collection in Tim's memory?" and I couldn't think what purpose that would serve. Now I know. Tim's body has been recovered but, inevitably, he was travelling without insurance. That means that his family are now facing a VERY substantial bill to have his body flown back to England. As I mentioned in my original thread, this is not a wealthy family ... far from it. As of now, I am running an appeal on Basschat to raise funds to help get Tim back to England. If you wish to make a donation/contribution, please PayPal ONLY to my account. This email address (my PayPal address) needs to be typed backwards: [email protected] All donations will be kept anonymous, but please ensure that your "Message" makes clear that this is a donation to Tim's fund. The appeal runs until I hear from Tim's family that they have the matter under control, and I'll report back here. I'm sorry if this seems rather brusque and business-like ... I'm a Finance Director and I tend to deal with money in this way. Jack
Done, Jack.
I AGREE!!!
Yeah, thanks mate, nice one. You owe me £25 for a new keyboard, unless you fancy spending an afternoon cleaning the puke off it for me. I was just about to serve dinner aswell. Swinehund!
 18. Good idea mate! There's no date yet though and I need a sale really quickly.
 19.
Nigel, can you bring your Line6 as well? I wanted to A/B it with my Boss on the SE Bash but couldn't make so this is good chance
Will do old chap!
 20. Need a quick sale on this now, or a trade for Mackie SRM v2 powered monitors. Final price drop £675 firm. This is an absolute bargain for this bass, but I'm in a bloody hurry to sell, I need other stuff urgently! Fanx.

 24. I put my funk beret on I'll see if there are any shots of the evening around and put some up. Actually, big up to our support act who were brilliant, a South African Kwela band from South Norwood called The Positively Testcard. Marcel, the bassist, was a lovely guy and played like a demon. Used a MM Jazz with a Hartke head and a SWR 2x10. Great tone and great playing. 25.
and Im shocked at how small and quick the necks are.
You should try my 2009 Warwick Corvette fretless (the new Wick neck profile) some time. It makes a Jazz feel like a RSJ, it's titchy! I love it, wonderful neck to play.
