For God's sake, what a pedant! If you email I'll send you a picture of anything you like. If you're not interested you don't have to post anything. It's easy. We're all adults in here right?
Are you an East End market trader? It's not a rule, but it is general custom and practice on here to post decent, detailed pictures of YOUR bass, so people can make an informed choice. Details of condition, any issues, specifications, weight, etc. are all very useful too. You want to sell it, right? Lack of such, and general rudeness to other members, in the For Sale fora may necessitate, in the end, a trip to Cash Converters, or a listing on the Bay of E. I know you're new here mate, so this is a little friendly advice so you don't wreck your reputation before you're out of the starting gate. Cheers, Nigel
For reference, how much would the bass be sans E-Pro please?
£630 without the case, £665 with the case. The case is brand new about a month old, never been out the house, neither has the bass, apart from the garden for the photos Sound reasonable? Cheers.
I tried to sell my four string FNA here few weeks ago for 395 pounds, and nobody bought it from me... I'm wondering why? Good luck with the sale, this is a MONSTER!
Sorry to go OT for a moment. I might be interested at £395 mate. But I need a Warwick with a shallow neck, not the clubbier one. Cheers.
knocking the price down abit more. 650. Good luck guys. Have a good one.
I just let a near mint 2006 BO 4 string Corvette $$ with a high polish finish (new about £1700) go for £525 on here, if that helps. I think the FNA Jazzman is a bit more desirable than the FNA. S/H Warwick prices are dreadful mate. £650 is more than fair for such a great instrument, but the market will decide. Very best of luck.
That'll be a Warwick then Unfortunately I've no money to spend on gear at all (blown on a new, to me, car , hate cars, hate cars). Otherwise I'd actually quite like this. All the best with finding whatever it is your looking for
Yep, a nice Warwick will fit the bill!
Sorry, don't do sesame oil, too many Chub. Now, sweetcorn, marinated in worm essence, frozen to take the flavour in, thawed, . Just sell the bloody thing before I do something rash .
Good point! It will sell. It's a fabulous Jazz Bass.
Nige, if a would-be buyer wants the bass sans J-Retro, I will take the J-Retro, mate
That's cool mate, thank you! I'll let you know. It's mint and boxed with all the instructions. If this situation happens, would £165 be acceptable? Cheers Clarky, N
Omnomnomnom, can't believe this is going Loser Nige is a standup guy, so deal with confidence Si
Thanks Si, appreciated I should add that I have factored in a couple of months depreciation in the price, and it's a firm price which I think is perfectly fair. Cheers, Nigel
Really surprised to see this for sale already, yes we are fickle buggers. Good luck, can't see you having any trouble moving this on,
John Blackman chucked in a tube of E45 with it so the itch has now gone Seriously, thanks mate. I have always wanted a gorgeous Fender Jazz, even though I knew I needed more than a Fender could offer me. This is the best Jazz I've ever played. I just had to have one. But now, that desire has faded. It was romance, infatuation. I'm starting to realise that the music is in ME, not the bass. So I want a workhorse with all the features I need and a beautiful neck about the same dimensions as this Jazz. I know for sure that a recent shallow neck Warwick will be about perfect, Jazz width nut and shallow oval neck profile. I probably want a German Corvette, probably a $$. In the meantime, my clubby neck Electra I made will serve me very well indeed. Thanks again

It's about 10-12 years old and virtually mint. Two almost invisible tiny dings to the body edge and one about the size of a pinhead on the back (pic shown). The neck is mint. No fret wear, fingerboard in fabulous condition, nicely figured rosewood. This is a bass with no issues at all. Now on ebay at £675 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...1#ht_500wt_1082
Hey Nig, don't beat yourself up over this. You had an itch and you needed to scratch it. Its better to try and not like than never try and live in denial. No big deal if the Fender is not for you. Now you know and can move forward.
Nice reassuring words my friend! Thank you! I suppose I want a bass that can be my best friend. Normally best friends are the ones you don't drool on when you first meet them -
Haha, how many have us said that! At least you are safe in the knowledge that if you do want to buy a Warwick, the Market is certainly in your favour right now! (at least for a used one)
True-ish. I need a recent Warwick, I want the dimensions of the Jazz neck which the recent ones have. Plus, I don't really want a wood finish, I want paint! Preferably white. Don't get me wrong, I love this Jazz. I think I've gone through so much foolishness about looks, brands, daft itches that need scratching, the joy of a new bass, the lust for a good Fender, that finally I may be calming down and simply need an instrument that allows me to just express myself with the tone I want, the comfort, the set up. Sod all that other sh*t that come foremost in the mind when lusting after a new instrument. Maybe I'll end up with a Goodfellow or a Mayones, who knows? I'm getting calmer and more sensible as I near 50 though, I think
