  1. Helix stomp and unexpected bill situation means I'm having to let pedals go that I was hoping to keep hold of. No doubt I'll regret, but needs must. Delivery available at buyers expense. Both drive circuits worth price of admission. Less than a year old, Excellent condition and box and box candy. *Sold* Source Audio Aftershock - £90 Distortion Swiss army knife with convincing emulations of every conceivable distortion/drive/fuzz. Endless possibilities with the phone or desktop apps aswell. xan run stereo or parallel processed back to 1 output. Excellent condition but no box or PSU.
  2. Does anyone know if it's possible on the stomp to change how FS3 is assigned per patch? I use the tap tempo for 1 track, but it seems a shame to lose that footswitch on every patch because of 1 song. Also, editing snapshops on the editor seems to be a bit of a slog... has anyone tried changing the function of a path split from crossover back to Y in a snapshot?
  3. Sounds perfect! Downloaded those Celestion IR's last night Opted to try the 4x10 option first, you get A LOT of options in there! Some of them sound great but I'm struggling to get them to play nice with my synthy and parallel drive stuff. Think I'll try the Pulse12s or 15s and see if there's much difference.
  4. That's my plan... my set up is a GK 1001RB-II into a Barefaced Big Twin II, which I believe is a pretty flat response cab so hopefully it comes through faithfully if I use the effects return. I've never done this set up before though, does the input gain and pad impact or is it literally just the master output?
  5. That's very true. I can't get my head around people paying for presets; IR responses fine, but not so much presets. I did find his flat response amp settings beneficial. I'll definitely have another look at it!
  6. Everyone has recommended the Dr Tone site to me. Some of the EQ guides have been really helpful, but I've found most of the demo videos he's posted to be very mid scooped. Maybe I'm approaching it wrong though for the amount of people who'd recommended it.
  7. I'm hugely tempted... haven't played with it through my amp as yet though so not even sure if the IR will be needed, it's all new to me! It was nice not having to take my amp to the last festival gig we did though.
  8. Awesome! Still using the celestion IRs? I've just got my hands on an HX stomp, and was underwhelmed by the stock cab sims and the majority of the free offerings. I found a decent Aguilar SL112 IR from Tyler Spicer which is much better, but I'm not convinced that it's the pinnacle and I'm sure there must be better out there...
  9. Awesome, that did the trick! Massive thanks for that, I'd assumed neuro desktop would notify me when there was an update available! This is much more practical than the 1 way communication of the headphone jack, although it's a shame the neuro app doesn't tell you which preset you're editing, that would've been even better.
  10. Think I may be missing something here... I've got my standard USB cable that connects the C4 to my pc, and that's connected to my phone by the standard USB to USB C adapter that came with the phone, but the two aren't talking 🤔 any ideas?
  11. ZVEX Mastotron in excellent condition. One of the best fuzzes available for bass, covers everything from nasty thick fuzz to spluttery gated synthy stuff... Impedance knob means it'll play great with active basses. Comes with box and pre-velcroed ready for board. £90 incl shipping
  12. Hi Cosmo, It's held on with some strong double sided foam, was done over 2 years ago and hasn't moved at all 🙂
  13. Price Drop £850! Will consider trades, especially nice precisions, jazzes and stingrays... but hit me with what you got! Can remove Neck pick up before sale FOC if needed. Spector Rebop 4MM with FULLY REVERSIBLE upgrades (they really make a difference though) in excellent condition. Details of upgrades below. First off, the EMG MMHZ was replaced for an Aguilar MM pick up for a fuller sound in the bridge position. What a fantastic pick up this is. I no longer have the EMG pick up but they're still easy to get hold of. Secondly, a new passive circuit was fitted, but the tone pump is tucked away inside for an easy reinstall. Controls are now Vol, pick up blend and tone. Third and best, a custom made ROUTELESS neck pick up was fitted without drilling a single visible hole which gives a huge pallet on tones, sounds massive on it's own but can be fully removed without a trace. (build diary - https://www.facebook.com/348973598868510/posts/807761396323059/?sfnsn=scwspmo) Also purchased a fitted Spector hardcase which has some good signs of use. Selling as moved over to 5 strings, upgrades and case cost upwards of £400, and these were last on sale new for £1400+ with second hand prices going upwards since being discontinued. Looking for £1000 £850 ovno plus shipping costs. Happy to meet for fuel contribution or deliver locally free. Can take more images on request 🙂
  14. It was shockingly cut, it looked as if it had been hacked out with a Stanley knife. It was sent back a second time for truss rod issues after it was returned back from this repair, and in the end they refunded it and I exchanged for one of the short scale models. Shame, too; the Birdseye on the fretboard was exceptional, much better than on my new one. This one also came with a stripped out strap peg hole, but I was sick of complaining about it at this point so I filled it with toothpicks as standard.

  16. I wasn't impressed to be honest! Even with the bass control it didn't seem to have as much body to it as a proper green russian big muff. Ended up selling it and buying the real deal (which is now also in the for sale section due to being surplus to requirements) 🤦‍♂️
  17. Absolutely world destroying fuzz pedal. Sounds massive with guitar and earth shattering with bass. Retains all your low end and can add boat loads more with the tone dialed back. Massively versatile fuzz for both guitar and bass Never thought I'd be without this, but my way huge pork & pickle comes close enough for what I need.... Fantastic condition and comes with box and velcro on back. Can drop off locally or happy to ship at cost
  18. Bought new 3 months ago, just decided I'm not a compression kinda guy. Great multi band compressor that can be any sort of compressor you want with the tone print app. In as new condition bar velcro on back. Comes with box (including unused stick on feet, tc sticker etc) Can drop off locally or happy to ship at cost
  19. At the risk of reviving an old threat... Now that these have been out in the wild a few months, how are you all finding them?! I've seen talk of them replacing mastotrons! Is this true?! Currently using my C4 for dirty saw wave synth tones (dizzee rascal - bonkers, prodigy etc) and while it sounds great... I'm pretty active onstage and it's a nuisance having to concentrate on keeping everything as clean as possible for tracking... Will the ultrawave cop these types of sounds? (Please say no! I've got terrible GAS, but also got kids to feed!)
  20. Thats reassuring, as I have one of of the short scale ones coming tomorrow! How do you find the low B?
  21. I've read the truss nut is welded on too, which explains why they couldn't repair mine. Poor form really.
  22. Thanks man, I've gone for the short scale so hoping for better from that... it was so disappointing as it really felt like a quality bit of kit
