Hiya, 100% sure this is going to due to recent purchases ! This is the original Bass Pod Pro (mk1). See... Fully functioning - boxed, w/ manuals and in great condition - has always been racked, and has some (non-excessive !) rack rash as a result Potential purchasers are more than welcome to pop down and try this out. £Sold Pending.... Forgive me if i'm wrong, but didn't HH have a similar idea in the 70's with interchangable fascia interfaces. Where you could slot in a reverb effect unit or pop in a distortion unit and so on ??!!! Must find out more...

Hi, I used to use an allegedly ex-Motorhead 1978 JMP100 guitar head, through a black-face early 80's, 8ohm if i recall, Fender 2x15 and it sounded sweet (until the speakers went kaput - age and all that...) ! Go for it !

IMHO previously my 700rbII worked really well with an Eden XLT 4x10 ! Nowadays I use it with a MarkBass 6x10 - and that's light !

playablilty ? ....ok, imho the fact that they are slab-bodied gets some used to, the neck should be 'hard work' (at least compaired to a jazz) and tone-wise it's a bit limited - hey, it was designed in '51. ....but after all that , it's well worth it !

Always loved the look of the streamer in chrome - oh to be right handed - the choice is endless !!!! That said, wasnt Stu Zenders' a chrome 5 with green leds ??!! -

Nice looking bass - price is probably about right given the rarity and condition. And more than likely, like the majority (well, mine at least) of mid-late 70's lefty p and j basses will weigh a ton !!! Go for it - great basses and it's value will only increase !

....this is just a thought, so don't bite my head off. spend your £200 wisely, buy something that is gonna be more valuable on ebay....!!!??? Then save up or invest and buy a used SVT 2/CL head and do the 2 4x10s justice !!! ....I'll go back in my box !
