1. Just sold an EBS pedal to Rich: absolutely first class transaction. Fast payment, clear communication - top chap!
2. Is this the model you're after?
3. Nice introduction, Chi - welcome.

5.
Cheers everyone (and sorry I missed some above - my typing is soooooooo slow), TBH just typing out my options got me thinking about them. I think I might book a few lessons (I know it's not fashionable but I've always wanted to slap and learning to read properly would be good too) I've got a few people I can jam / write / record with. Including another ex-guitarist who writes some seriously nice pop songs. He's an ex-pro who still has a publishing deal so who knows? Give it a few months and then I'll be looking for a new band. Thanks for listening and all your thoughts.
Sounds sensible. After a similar band implosion last year, I took a break for two months then started browsing band adverts, before joining my current outfit. Keeping your hand in by jamming and having lessons great idea too.
6.
Bump for Xmas bonuses...
Wishful thinking down my way! Beautiful bass - good luck for a swift sale
7. Oh, yes - you are a man of discernment. Two beauties
8. Hi Gordon and welcome
9. Oh yes - lovely (and just like my old T-40).
10. Hi Pookus Check out the Bass Tutors section on here, might be someone local to you. Welcome
11. Welcome, Jon. I'd check out Yamaha and Ibanez basses too - great value.
12. Ciao, Adriano and welcome. I see you have a T-40, would be great to see pictures; I used to have a natural one, but they're heavy beasts and perhaps a young man's bass. Save me some pandoro, won't you?
13. Welcome to the forum and world of bass. Loads of good advice for new and more experienced players on here, and a friendly bunch to boot.
14. Wrong section, my friend, try 'Items Wanted': I'm sure a nice Mod will be along soon to move this for you.
15.
Best to get a good RCD extension lead, it shouldn't work if there's no earth, and should trip if there's the slightest 30mA leakage to earth, they work on the principle of what goes out should come back, so will trip if there's the slightest difference between current going out through it and coming back through the neutral.
I want to get RCD protection for gigs but need to travel light (as I'm on foot 90% of the time!) - would I be best getting a RCD socket rather than an extension lead or cable reel? Saw one in B&Q today for a tenner, looked a bit plastic but if it works...
16. Thanks for your replies everyone. Bass via the Microbass works though, as expected, does not sound great. I'd read another thread about USB/Firewire interfaces so wasn't sure how important these might be. So, I'll have a go over Christmas and let you know how I get on.
17. Hi everyone I'll be having my first go at recording over Christmas, using Garageband. I'm planning to send my bass output via my Microbass II to my Mac - will this work ok? I'm not expecting it to sound great, more for reference really. Thanks Doug
18.
+2, I'd never listened to them before (bar Blackberry Way), but after watching the video you posted I've ordered the 4CD Anthology, saw it at a great price by pure coincidence! Should be here before Christmas
Excellent - the singles are particularly good. Then you can move onto ELO, Wizzard and (for the hardcore) Roy Wood solo...!
19.
I'd be interested to get some more reaction from other members since it was mentioned that the finish might be dissuading people. Anyone?
It's a very attractive finish, I think. Good luck with the sale.
20. The Move = great band.
21. Confidence is a mercurial thing so I'd have a break and, most likely, you'll return with renewed vigour. So, don't worry.
22. I played there recently with said promoter and I'm disappointed, but not surprised, by this. As others have said, booking the Dry Bar direct with its owners would have been best, but I know it's easy with hindsight. Hope you sort this out anyway.
23.
Jumped over £400 in the last 30 seconds. Maybe not such a bargain after all...
Aye, that's what I was getting at.
24. then a flurry: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=160304126119 Pretty high price,eh?
25. Nice set: Withers, Mayfield and Al Green being favorites of mine. Still trying to persuade my band to cover Grandma's Hands by Bill Withers...
