1. Hi, I'm having a clear-out at home so this nice Japanese Precision copy has to go. Here is Bassassin's original for sale advert and my photos: I'm looking for £150 collected (from Greenwich, SE London) or I will post it insured within the UK for a further £15. Prices include a sturdy black case. No trades. PM me with any questions, thanks.
2. Bought my Omni 10 recently, collected from my house. Top chap to deal with.
3. Back from the Balkans BUMP - still for sale
4.
I just got the original rollerball soundtrack by Andre previn and this is in the same league.
'Executive Dance Party' off this is brilliant, pure Dr. Dre West Coast groove, ahead of its time. Film's decent too! The site www.vinylvulture.co.uk used to be superb for crate-digging gems, shame it disappeared, I fondly recall pages dedicated to Geoff Love LPs and a whole guide on the funkiest recordings of Jesus Christ Superstar.
5. Much as I know some of you are enjoying these BB bumps , this is probably the last one before I go on holiday next week. Go on, make me an offer...
6. FINAL bump before I go on holiday... make me an offer, you never know, eh?
7. I've had some interesting trade offers but I'm really after a sale... another BB bump:
8. Take those tablets NOW before that you sell that Jazz
9.
Excellent cabs these! Built a pair these for my son to go with his 2000W rig. He only uses one as he feels two's unnecessary!
Blimey, I'd love to hear that rig!
10. For sale my superb 1979 BB1200, a great bass in wonderful condition in its 30th birthday year. These classic Yamaha BBs have become collectors items and seldom appear for sale on BC or eBay, hence my deployment of that overused adjective rare Spec and condition: Lovely through neck, great quality and a joy to play, comes strung with a set of used D'Addario nickel rounds. Sale includes original duster, truss rod tool, screwdriver, thumb rest and screws, unfitted clear perspex scratchplate (still has protective wrap on) and screws, and of course the original Super Fitted case. You are welcome to try this out over a cuppa. Full disclouse: there is a small ding near the jack socket (see photo below) and the odd sign of wear elsewhere, but the finish on these basses is excellent and the marks are barely noticeable on the natural finish. There is also some pitting of the chrome on a couple of the pegheads, which I discovered when changing strings recently; you can't see this with strings on, of course, but wanted to mention it here. Price: I was offered £450 very recently for this bass so am looking for offers close to that. Cash on collection from my home in SE London, or I will courier/post the bass for £20. Bank transfer is fine, add 3% if you want to use Paypal. Finally, I am going on holiday for 2 weeks on 4 October so am looking to move this on before then. Pictures This case is closed PM me with any questions you have, see my signature below for nice BC feedback and thanks for looking. Doug
11. Thursday bumpo for a top cab and top cat.
12.
I'm surprised at the amount of positive interest this is starting to attract. Maybe we should organise a buying trip to Givson HQ and bring a few home. Could be the ultimate BC curry weekend!
One of the BC luthier visits, eh? That'd be would be one to remember. One week Celinder, the next Givson... large Cobra please.
13. Givson? That's hilarious. It's 'unique', all right.

16. For sale: one Bill Fitzmaurice Omni 10 cabinet, light and superbly built by BC's own Andy Martin. Spec: power handling of 500 watts, 8 ohms (2 Eminence Beta 16 ohm drivers in parallel), weighs 22 kilos. It's 26" tall x 20" wide x 16" deep (or 66 x 51 x 41 cm). Wiring: GK amps speakon bi-wire input, full range jack and full range speakon inputs. Condition: the cab is in excellent used condition, only used at home and a few rehearsals. When not in use, I've always kept it covered to keep dust (and the claws of Smilla - see last photo) away from the carpeting. Sound: BFM designs are highly rated, efficient, well engineered cabinets. Do a search on here, Talkbass, Finnbass or the BFM forum and you'll see nothing but positive comments about the Omni 10's performance. I don't know what bass you play, what head you use, how you play or where you play, so I'll refrain from using adjectives like 'punchy', 'loud', 'hi-fi' or 'old school'. Whatever you put in, this cab reproduces that faithfully in spades. Price: I'm looking for offers around £230 and ideally cash on collection from my home in SE London; you are very welcome to try this out over a cuppa. I will courier the cab if I have to, this will cost an extra £30 or so (precise quote to be obtained). Bank transfer is fine, add 3% if you want to use Paypal. Why am I selling? I gig with Sibilla using EBS Microbass II DI'ed into PA, I don't drive and I'd rather a BC'er was doing this cab justice (the cash would be quite nice too). I am going on holidays on 4 October so am looking to move this on before then. PM me with any questions you have, see my signature below for feedback and thanks for looking.
