  1. PM's replied, still here at present. Agree the original pictures i did were atrocious - i'll pass on photography as a past time . Anyhow the body is original finish, very clean - hopefully these better pics will show this
  2. Your absolutely right mate, just tried booking a drop off & delivery and encountered this 'large parcel' nightmare. They must have changed the ruling ...scuppered my morning pre-work drop off routine that I've been using for the last 12 months.
  3. Karl, you know with Parcelforce you can do a drop off at you local post office at your convenience?
  4. .....and SOLD Up for grabs is a nice Red Precision body, excellent condition, string through, not sure of the manufacturer but seems pretty good quality, Uncertain of the wood type too but certainly not ply. Bought for a project but the neck pocket is too big for my Lakland 61.5mm neck, the eBay seller had it advertised at 62mm. This pocket is actually standard Fender size 63.7mm with my plastic callipers. Would make a nice body for your 'Pino' project! £50 posted or £42 collected from Plymouth, UK
  5. SOLD These are now surplus so are up for sale. An easy way of adding alternate tuning to your bass guitar. These are easily retrofitted with no drilling required. Normally the bass x-tender keys are tuned to switch between E and D but can do others i.e. C. BT2 - SOLD BT3 - suitable for pre-CBS Fenders equipped with reverse winding Kluson tuners, Jap Marcus Miller, Flea Bass etc £50 each including UK postage.
  6. Last bump before eBay (good album title perhaps? 😂)
  7. Yes, will PM
  8. That’s was lovely and it makes perfect sense to me 😉 I’ve been jamming with a band for the last year using my bass through a Line 6 HD500X and getting nice experimental sounds (noises). I too am often after ‘those’ typical dance sounds of 303’s or the D&B warble...not so much the dub step thing. Incidentally I recently saw Submotion Orchestra with Fatty Hargreaves on bass...his experimental deep bass analog sounds were absolutely amazing...FX master!
  9. Yay! A good news story. Stunning looking bass and bet it plays even better. Glad your happy mate
  10. I'd be interested in buying the TC clip on tuner if you do separate
  11. We're a democracy
  12. Wow, Facebook reveals some really interesting er...people!...On that note we'll have a reduction here in B/C world before considering Evilbay here: Now £750 or £800 if wanting the BT3 Hipshot Xtender D-Tuner.
  13. I've just been playing Le Flea.....had a moment thinking about withdrawing but concluded I'd be more content with a non-pinky USA Jazz, or a reissue jazz with blocks ...white, sunburst, blue, natural - the tone of the Flea is something special though
  14. Old PRS bass (Robbie Shakespear), Jazz Bass on neck pick up and tone off, or a Hohner B bass or Hohner cricket bat bass will see you through....standard tools of a dub player
  15. Hi Pete, thanks for the offer but the Ibby is not for me I'm afraid, looks truly lovely though.
  16. Yes absolutely, instant creamy & silky vintage tones to be had
  17. Can add either a USA Fender, or Seymour Duncan Quarterpounder pickup for an extra £25, so £400 all in for a very clean (appears like new to be honest), quality looking, sounding and playing P bass. May take a double gig bag in part ex.
  18. Cheers Pawel. Yes it’s a great bass indeed but I have to accept it’ll end up a ‘dust collector’
  19. AND.... SOLD As much as I've tried I've finally decided this recent purchase isn't for me but it is a bass to tick off the bucket list nonetheless. Whilst sounding absolutely superb with the vintage Fender 64 pickups I just don't think were bonding aesthetically. I don't think I'm a long-term fan of Shell pink TBH - it's a shame as it plays so nice with a great slap tone, nice and light too around 9lb ish - can get an accurate weight if requested. Since buying from Bagsieblue of this parish I have added a BT3 Detuner (£70 fro Bass direct) and shielded the cavities. I'm am therefore selling for £850 with the BT3 or £800 without. Now £750 or £800 if wanting the BT3 Hipshot Xtender D-Tuner. Trade wise, Looking for another 4 string Jazz, preferably a Fender USA or decent MIJ (i like block and bound basses), Happy to add a couple of hundred to upgrade and open to other Jazz bass manufactures too. May at a push consider a Warwick Streamer LX/FNA, MM Bongo. Happy to work with buyer on arranging a courier if necessary or collect/trial in Plymouth UK. Orignal sales thread, details and pictures here: Flea bass Thanks
  20. SOLD.My trusty Bitsa P is up for sale due to a new recent purchase. Great clean bass, 2015 Rosewood Fender (MIM) neck, Olympic white (Chris Aiken) body, Hipshot top load bridge for great sustain, CTS pots and Russian PIO capacitor making for a very smooth sound, took out my vintage Lollar pickup as I am keeping that and replaced with a Wilkinson - still sounds great, lightweight, Fender knobs & neck plate, lovely dark Tort plate, and strap locks. Can post. Bass owes me a lot more than the asking price...it looks a cracker and sounds even better, a lot of bass for the money. SOLD
