1. A beautiful eulogy from his lad.

3. Thanks. I am the tool in the blue sweater doing the monkey style dance
4. for those without Facebook.
5. Hello basschatters. I was tricked into donning a festive sweater and singing Mariah Carey along with a load of other Banbury musical types. It is all in the name of the Let's Play Project which provides safe play environments for kids with learning/physical disabilities. If you could take 5 mins to watch and maybe donate, it would be awesome. Or just watch it, try to spot me and laugh at my sexy sweater. 8. Headlined the Wheatsheaf in Oxford on Friday night. Absolutely busting crowd who were well up for a bit of noise. Even made a couple of quid too . I was harangued by going back on a pledge to wear a My Little Pony T-shirt but other than that, NOISE!!!
9. For "normal" gigs I use my 150 watt solid state Marlin at around half volume. . For a bit of oomph for bigger shows I have a matching 150 watt slave power amp. Both running through a Kustom Groove bass 2x 18 cab. Volume and headroom to spare.
10. Saw them in Oxford last night. The worst sound I have ever heard at a gig. Mushy and indistinct and constant feedback from the microphones.
11. Cause I lost my job Two weeks before Christmas Cause by Rodriguez
12. Death Cab for Cutie " I Will Follow You Into The Dark" "Love of mine, Some day you will die But I'll be close behind I'll follow you into the dark"
13. I host an open mic night here in a donation based cafe inBanbury and we get a wide range of performers. So far we have had a didgeridoo player, a banjo player, flamenco, poetry, people doing songs from the musicals and even a lady playing the Doctor Who theme on a saw. Itnis always a welcoming atmosphere with no one judging anyone. I know of at least 3 guys who made their live debuts with us and now regularly gig for cash. Is it exploiting musicians to play for free? Thats your judgement but from my experience, just being somewhere that is a conduit for expression ina a warm and friendly atmosphere is worth it.
