  1. String spacing definitely 19mm? only some Sadowskys seem to be produced at 17.5mm (total width at bridge 70mm). beautiful instrument !
  2. I can also vouch for the super quality of Jon Shuker's work, plus he is a great bloke. I had a Series 2 (fretted) custom made with Buckeye Burl top, East EQ etc and I don't think your budget would be a barrier. There would doubtless be some lead time though as Jon's reputation is growing quickly!
  3. I had a 5 string version of this - they are very nice guitars and extremely well put together. Nice price! GLWTS.

  5. An absolute beauty! Shame I’m full on my 5ers! GLWTS
  6. Just "wow"!! Where is three and a half grand when you need it. I'd even give up my 19mm string spacing aversion for this. Great, great bass - GLWTS!
  7. And has sold some amazing instruments on here - great playing too ! GLWTS
  8. Downsizing my kit and this lovely Ashdown has to go. (the one in the top in the picture obviously!!) Its a 2x10 Model number "MAG210T Deep". They now seem to cost about £200, so I reckon this is worth £80 but no reasonable offer refused. In perfect working order, although one of the corner plastic bits is damaged when it got caught sliding across the back of my car. There is a hard to photograph slight dent in the metal front grill (as you can see, it is virtually invisible in the front facing photo. Standard jack and speakon connections. Its got a nice solid, punchy sound, helped by the horn. Great for use as a "foldback" monitor or as backline in small venues or as I've been using it, in combination with a 1x15. Doesn't weigh too much so easy to lug around. Given size, collection only from near Chelmsford Essex. Thanks for looking PS - the TCE Staccato not include
  9. LAST PRICE DROP TO £100 (or sensible offers!)- incredible value for an awesome sounding pro piece of kit! Decide to downsize my kit, so this lovely Warwick Pro 1x15 (with horn) is up for grabs. They cost around £330 as does the newer model. In very good condition - a bit dusty from standing on the Church platform permanently! Used every Sunday and sounds fab. Very useful in combination with 2x10/12 etc to get them up to ear level! 8 ohms, 400 Watts. Fitted with castors, as originally supplied, but easily removed if preferred. Collection only from near Chelmsford Essex or within reasonable driving distance to meet up.
  10. Gorgeous bass - is the 19mm string spacing adjustable (downwards?).
  11. Hopefully sitting on rubber pads 😳 What is the string spacing on this one?
  12. Thanks Quatschmacher and Urban Bassman, I'll get back to you soon !
  13. Mint condition TC Electronic octaver, with original box, sticker, leaflet etc. Just not getting the use it should in a gospel/church setting!! Does one octave up, one down and two down and any combination of these. Lovey sturdy metal chassis. Not to be confused with the “mini” version. Retail price £107. As new condition. Will post at cost - probably another £5. You can also download custom/artist settings via "toneprint" - See TC Electronic Website: http://www.tcelectronic.com/sub-n-up-octaver/ Save yourself nearly £40 off the retail price. Check out my feedback here: Thanks for looking
  14. Very clear and thorough demo! Is the ramp removable without leaving marks, and what is string spacing at the bridge? Thanks

Just "wow"!! Has to be the most gorgeous Overwater I've seen! GLWTS
  16. Not surprised this went quickly - beautiful bass and great sounding. Love the gold finished strings to match the hardware !!
  17. Cheers Bill - I'm really hoping it will go to a good home soon - Jon's work is outstanding, and I was so impressed with this one that I got him to do a bespoke bass for me based upon it. Thanks again. David
  18. Message replied to - thanks for your interest. Still time for delivery for Christmas !!
  19. Thanks guys! It is indeed a steal, and I feel a bit bad selling it really - an equivalent new bass by Jon would be double the price. But needs must ! Get it in time for Christmas
  20. I'm in the strange position of having had a confirmed sale, and the buyer going awol with all attempts to contact having failed So the lovely Shuker is all boxed up and ready to go. It is yours for £1,050 delivered anywhere in the UK. I won't be too upset to unbox it and keep it, because it is a lovely instrument and has been my main bass for a couple of years, but I now have a new Shuker to my own specification so it seems wrong to keep 2 and TBH I could do with the funds. PS - Bob, if you read this do please drop me a note to let me know you're ok. Cheers.
