Its a national average of what was spent, not what was received.

I want my speaker to do as little colouring as it can and just put out what the amp gives out. if I want muffled I will do that at the amp.

Had the 305 and there was something special about that pickup, great sound, just couldn't get on with the neck. Good live bass though, great sound and built like a tank!

Aren't they the same?

Just going from the specs isn't he - the Bose F1s are listed at 1000W head and 1000W bass (more conservative than others, my old altos are listed as 2000W, be impressed if they were 300w), and there are indeed a combination of 11 heads and basses Does seem kind of odd though that as they are 4k for a set of 2 tops and 2 bottoms, you would pick 4 tops and 7 bottoms!
-
I assume he just bought a load of Bose F1s full systems, although he must have some money for that lot

Would be handy for one of those blues brothers bottling things - maybe use it to play reading festival!
-
They probably need the volume, look they have 3 bass players! Those speakers do look handy to hide behind though

Both ends matter to me - I had a 5 string that had good (ie, 17.5) spacing at the bridge but felt really wide at the nut, and in the end I just found it a bit tiring to play for a long time, so I ended up not using it, so it got sold.

Wow - do they really go for that? I mean it is an old lump of wood with strings on it. Cant be that many stock broker walls surely?

Its where G&L live, Fender avenue, Fullerton, so is it an American G&L or a Tribute.

Pretty much the same here. We have a whatsapp group but a lot of questions go unanswered.

Not really https://help.cbp.gov/s/article/Article-373?language=en_US#:~:text=If you are making a,refunding any sales tax paid. Remember if you are buying from a shop there is the state tax and also possibly a city tax (that isn't listed in the price). TBH, the best way is to buy something that even if you have to pay vat and import duty in the UK it would be worth it, like if it is really cheap or something unique, then if you have to pay that tax you are prepared for it and still happy, and if you don't it is a good result.

Or maybe EMG could make an ibanez sized pickup.

Looks great, the same colour scheme as my Maruszczyk elwood

Ibanez to come up with some punchy and memorable names don't they?

Well, yes, it is music as we know it, ie.. just normal music theory, I think the only reason it can seem odd is if you had never done any music theory. Its stops you having to make random exceptions for certain keys, so that in all keys you have all notes represented - if you are reading sheet music how would you represent a 'normal' a# vs a? If you are changing it you would put a sharp in front of note, but if every a was either an a or a#, it would be tiring to read without going through it first. If you don't read music, then I agree it can seem a bit odd, but then if you don't read music, why does it matter. I don't read greek and it kind of looks all greek to me!

It used to be. But then it depends where you are buying from, if you happen to be taking a trip to one of the states with no sales tax such as Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire, and Oregon (or alaska, but a long way for a bass!), it can be worth it, assuming you don't get caught out, in which case it is likely more expensive. Not sure I understand the logic of carrying an empty case out, for one it will probably cost you more in bagage and for a second, who is going to make a note that you went out with a case?

No, basically because music.

Of course I wouldn't, but luckily, my toungue isn't made of metal. I should have put a caveat in my post then, no, you shouldn't try it if your body is made of non skin based material I would also say as a caveat, that I wouldn't put any unknown battery of any type on my toungue, just because the label indicated that it was a certain voltage. Especially not if you have a fully functioning multimeter in the house.

Sorry to ruin a good anicdote, but if it was actually a 1.5V battery, it wouldn't matter if it had an entire nuclear reactor power it, it is *still* only 1.5V and would have the same effect as a micro button battery that was 1.5V. the current available is entirely irrelevant until you get up past a certain voltage (around 60v on your skin, less on your tongue). However, 9V can make a bit of a burn so you don't want to do that for long, a quick swipe past won't hurt too much.

So good you named yourself twice!

Ooh what kind of a messed up shuker thread doesn't have mine in it! Actually it has one I think, as I owned that 6 string up there ^ but the string spacing was too much for me. So I just have this:
