SOLD. Boss TU-2 Pedal Tuner - £20 inc postage.

I've had these briefly on a couple of Precisions, but I'm better suited to bright flats so they didn't stay on for very long at all. The strings have hardly been played in but the ends are frayed from coming on and off, and the bridge end shows where they have been on a regular bridge and through body bridge. Great strings though, and the lighter gauge makes for less tension. £20 including My Hermes postage.
Do you remember the guage? Is the C string also Thomastik? And will you ship to Denmark
Hi, they are the regular thomastik gauge, they only do one on flats. I'll check out postage this afternoon and PM you. The high C is also thomastik. Cheers.

I bought this in 1999, it was second hand then and belonged to Adrian Legg, (his name is written on it but is very faded now). Warm pedal, as used by Gilmour at one point. I've sold all my electric guitar gear, no point keeping this now. £30 posted My Hermes

Selling my old faithful tuner, we've had some great times over the years and this pedal would have some stories to tell if it could. But for the past year or two it's been in the drawer, waiting to get back on stage. Battered, but Boss, so will last the next millennia. Price includes My Hermes shipping. Selling a 2 month old 5 string set. These were on a Warwick Thumb 5 (and man did they sound great), I didn't cut them too short, but they would be better suited to a 3+2 tuner set up. If you like I can also throw in a high C string from another set that was only used for about 15 mins. I've just noticed a slight kink in the string since taking it off, it might come out under tension but I'm not sure in all honesty. Price includes My Hermes shipping.
I hear '80 was a good year at Marlin, equivalent to '62 at Fullerton?
Shhh, or the prices will go up. -

My Ozark acoustic bass that I've had since I was 16, so 22 years. Followed very closely by my Lull PJ4, very much hoping I never sell that one. Can't see why I would really.
I used to like 70s Fender Precisions, have had 3, all were great. Loved the mojo about them having picked up a bit of wear along the way. But then in one of my fits of madness did a cull, sold them all and have gone for the post 2012 Precisions, having heard a soundclip on here - Spongebobs btw. Bought mine (a 2015) online, when it turned up was a bit concerned as for a while my fretting hand ached a bit, as the neck was a bit deeper than I was used to. Now having got used to it - only took a couple of weeks - I`m so glad I did it. The new Precision is a much better instrument, sounds better, plays better (all imo of course, might not be for others) and any wear that happens is going to be mine. I like it so much I`ve bought another, just for home use. So in my mind I like vintage instruments, and to the eye as well, but if honest, I`ve not yet played a vintage instrument I like as much as my 2015. It`s really changed my opinions on new instruments as was never that keen before, thought them too shiny and soul-less. I was wrong.
Great post Lozz
Nice basses, but heavy and very precise, I found them quite impersonal. Same problem with Warwicks.
Normally I'd agree, except for 'vintage' Warwicks that is

Updating my favourite thread. Gutted that my Thumb was aggravating my pain, loved that bass, but now also loving having a Music Man back in the family The 3 M's - Mike Lull, Music Man & Modulus

I love vintage basses, and have owned a fair few 50's and 60's Fenders. These days I don't have one and I'm not exactly that bothered either tbh. But there was a time in my 20's when I felt like I 'needed' one. It was a phase but I'm glad I went through it. Since then the ones I've owned have been purely for fun, because I'll never believe they are better than modern ones, just a different vibe, and great when they are good ones. But man there are some pre CBS pigs out there too, I've played a fair few of them. Sometimes certain wood was just meant for tables, not basses
