3. Macca's not good right now as he's had to cancel a few gigs. Not like him so I hope he feels better soon...perhaps, trim the work load a bit in future. Get well soon - from me.
 4. I see that the bass is currently around £2800. Looks good if it's genuine.
 5.
Google is unclear about it (as usual), but whoever said it, it's true - and McCartney did record drums on certain songs.
No dispute that McCartney played on some tracks but Ringo was a beautiful drummer for The Beatles and I certainly can't think of anyone that would have fitted in better in fact, I'm fair sure that John Lennon used Ringo as the main drummer for his first album after The Beatles split. Many drummers try to copy Ringo but it's very difficult. Oasis did a good job of it though because that's what they wanted....someone to play like Ringo.
 6.
Famously when Lennon was asked if he thought Ringo was the best drummer in the world he replied, 'He's not even the best drummer in the Beatles.' McCartney played a fair number of the drum parts on various Beatles recordings.
I'm not sure that's true about Lennon, as it may have been Jasper Carrott that invented that Ringo quote.
 7. I've always loved this track and it's got the most fantastic drumming on it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=22K1geM2MJ4
whenever i hear someone say, they do it for the sound, sorry (TMIT), or its a slap fest, apart from other amazing bassists, i think of Mr Kabas. imo some of the most musical slap playing. well that I've heard . it can be done so well, i actually forget he's slapping. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nOJzRxlBRhI
Love that Kabas "Rock With You" vid. 18. Well, there's a bass up at the moment that I'd like to buy but, it's my money and I think it's too dear . Drop it and I'll cash for it. Amuses me to see folk say..ooooh bargain, I'd love it or what a gift...somebody's going to get a steal or it will be gone in 60 seconds. So, buy it then

 24. Anyone remember the experiment on telly where they gave a bunch of students a few tests to do and then they gave them coffee and were told that it was full of caffeine. They all got "buzzed up" and got on with the tests and when they were asked about it they said they were as high as kites and performed better, except................... there was no caffeine It was all in their minds.
