  1. I love the look of a nice single cut. This one is stunning! Trying to justify buying it 😂 GLWTS
  2. Hi everyone, decided to move on a few things that I'm not using. This is my spector legend thru neck 5 string. It's a great sounding and playing bass that feels every bit as solid as the euro 5 I had (although this has a shallower and IMO comfier neck) . This is a 35" scale and comes factory fitted with a brass nut, aguilar pickups and 2 band aguilar preamp. It's in great condition with minor marks from use that I'm struggling to photograph. There is one noticeable bit of damage to the upper edge of the body, about 6 inches up from the strap button. It has cracked the finish by the looks of it, I don't remember this being there when I bought it however have no idea how it's happened at home so I may have just missed it. Any trial welcome, collection or meet up preferred but could look into postage if needed. Thanks
  3. Love my USA laklands, that is a beauty! GLWTS
  4. Just sold my GK combo to Phil. Great communication, fast payment and a really easy deal. Would happily deal with again, enjoy the amp 😁
  5. Hi everyone, decided to move on my amazing spector classic. The bass is around 6 months old is in almost new condition. Being a classic it has the jj pickup combo (emg pickups and preamp) and a very comfortable 34" scale as apposed to the standard 35" spector 5. It has the unmistakable spector tone and the best 34" B string I've played. Weight is 9.2lbs and comes with the excellent spector gig bag/strap locks. I have a double box so postage at buyers cost/risk possible. Collection or meet preferred, message me for any more info. Not really after trades but feel free to try me (no fretless and 4/5 string only) thanks! Oh.. And it's GOLD!!
  6. Geoff recently bought my yamaha bb615. The whole deal was very easy, good communication and quick payment. I'd happily deal with him and again and hope you enjoy the bass 😁
  7. If I was local I'd have this in an instant! Great price, GLWTS
  8. I did a trade deal with Tim I believe for a bass he was selling, and as I mainly play my lakland 5 didn't mind letting this go. However it is a great bass, any owner won't be disappointed. When I first got it the nut was shot, so I had a new nut fitted and it allows the bass to be setup perfectly
  9. This used to be mine, which I got from bassbros. It's a lovely bass and I'm trying very hard to not be reunited with it 😬
  10. Hi everyone, I recently put together a small head/cab rig so have decided to let this little beast go. Its about 4 years old and I've only ever used it at home, mainly through headphones. It's in great condition with no obvious marks, just abit of dust! It sounds great and has a fair bit of punch for such a small combo. The best thing is it weighs about 9kg so is incredibly easy to move. I've attached the specs in a link. I have the original box so could post it at buyers cost etc. Collection preferred and any trial welcome. Thanks! https://www.gallien-krueger.com/mb-110-specs
  11. Hi everyone, decided to sell some things I'm not using. This is my yamaha bb615. It's in the natural finish and is in great condition with some very minor marks. Plays and sounds great, the pickups are very punchy and clear. As most know these are excellent basses that punch way above there price. Collection or meet up preferred, however can look into postage options if needed. Thanks
  12. Love my laklands, amazing basses to play with such a great B string. Out of interest, what's your holy grail 5 string? 😁
  13. I had a very similar euro that I couldn't sell for £1100 on here, bassdirect sold it for me at £1600 in under a week. Obviously they take a cut but I still got more than I would've privately and for no effort
  14. Just bought a GK head from Paul. The whole deal was spot on: great communication, fast and well packed, exactly as described. Would happily deal with again. Thanks!
  15. Yeah I get what you mean, my problem I think is that the gk setup I've been playing through at home sounds great and is mega portable. So I'm struggling to justify the expense of the kemper, however I have been very curious with the helix so may invest in a stomp. I currently use a tech21 fly rig as I like having a tuner/distortion in one pedal, however from what I've heard the helix may be more up my street!
  16. Appreciate the insight. Yeah I agree the amp models do sound very good but I think I'm happy to admit I don't need more than one nice tone, so having a plethora of amps to fiddle with seems overkill. I'm also a gk fan so think I may just stick with what I know! Is your helix the stomp?
  17. Evening folks, I recently picked up a powered kemper. I'm trying to decide wether it's for me, or to return it. Alot of the bassists in bands I listen to use these so figured I'd try one. I've made a few profiles, mainly based on an ampeg svt. I usually play through headphones however liked the idea that I can run this through a cab if needed. I'm just after any opinions/experience as it's a fairly complex bit of kit of which I probably won't scratch the surface. IMHO the profile I am using sounds amazing with loads of clarity and it seems amazing to be able to have SVT tones/ a tuner/ compressor/ overdrive all in one place! 🤘
  18. Thanks mate. Yeah originally I was going to put the neck on a jazz build, but in reality my two 5 strings laklands cover everything I need 😁. I'd consider parting it out if anyone is interested in a loaded body or neck
  19. Evening folks, I recently got hold of this beauty in a deal however I'm only really playing 5 strings these days so am trying to make myself sell it! This is a parts bass, I believe it was originally put together by a member of this fine parish. It comprises of a stunning lakland USA neck, which I believe although a precision profile neck, has the slimmer 38mm nut width. Like all lakland necks it is incredibly nice to play. The tuners are hipshot, dunlop dual design strap buttons, I believe the pickup is a lindy fralin with cts pots. I was told the body is alder and the bass has had a relic treatment with a nitro refinish by DG relics. She's very comfortable at 8.05lbs and sounds like any good p should. Collection or meet up preferred, but will post at buyers risk and cost. Not really after any trades however feel free to ask, especially if you have a 5 string stingray. Any questions please ask. Thanks!
  20. Evening folks, decided to see if there's any interest in my made in Japan PB57 precision bass. Serial number dates it as a 1993/94 bass, it plays and sounds great. Most people rave about the quality of Japanese made instruments and I can see why. This has a lovely feel to it and is a lovely solid bass. The bass has lived, it has multiple scratches and paint chips (I've tried to photograph it best I can) and the hardware has tarnished (very nicely in my opinion!) however non of it affects the way it plays. Any trial welcome, would much prefer a collection but could look into postage or a meet up. Thanks!
  21. Just sold Mike a set of strings in a very trouble free and quick sale. Would happily deal with again, enjoy the grounds!
  22. Selling a set of elites 45/105 groundwound strings. These are stainless half rounds, I fitted them for half an hour before deciding I just prefer rounds. Cut for a 34" scale fender P bass. UK postage included in the price
  23. Used set of daddario pro steels 45/130 strings. I've had these fitted for about 3 months on a home use bass. So they're worn in but still have the stainless bright and aggressive tone. Cut for a 35" scale lakland 3/2 headstock. UK postage included in price
  24. Evening folks, very uncertain about this one... I bought this stunning lakland 5594 at the start of the year and told myself it was an upgrade to my 5514 which I would sell to justify it. However, I have had my 5514 for a good few years and can't bring myself to sell it. So, this beast is up for sale. It's a very early example and in fantastic condition, with only some very light marks/scratches that I'm struggling to photo. It's fitted with the bartolini electronics which all work perfectly. Hipshot USA hardware. It has a stunning flame maple neck with birdseye board that looks so good! I'd much prefer collection or meet up with this due to the value and so any buyer can check it out in person. Not after any trades, however would consider a trade (if its something I could sell easily enough) plus a minimum £1800 cash my way if it helps find a new owner! Any questions please feel free to ask, I can try and get better pictures if needed
