  1. Cool! I've fancied one of these for a while. Skint though. Bugger.
  2. Yup +1 for Matamp's build quality. The old stuff is ace, and the modern Matamp kit is every bit as good.
  3. Mmmmmmmm, lovely. I had one of these for a good while. I do miss it. Are you interested in anything trade wise?
  4. If this was the 2x15 model my dearest grandmother would have been on the market long ago.
  5. Hi matey. It does look really good though. I really love those flat back 8x10s. There was a 70s Orange one for sale near me last year. I stupidly didn't buy it. That is indeed me with the or200. I managed to pick a second one up t'other week. It needs a bit of work, but it was cheap.
  6. Pm Tayste_2000. He has my old one.
  7. Hi Clarky. I've got an early 70s blue line svt that I'm going to have to move on early next year. Should I give you a shout when it's ready to go?
  8. Ooow, congrats mate. I wondered who picked that up. Out of interest, what cab is that? It might be my eyes playing tricks on me but it looks like it's got some fancy "western" tolex on it.
  9. I had one of those loaded with Celestions. They are superb cabs. Lovely looking rig mate.
  10. Thirty nine kg is bloody impressive. My old VBC8x10 was nearly twice that. It's a good job my gas is pointing in a different direction at the minute. Glwts (please hurry).
  11. That's the one. It was a Bisonic, and yes it did spoil it a bit.
  12. I've always wanted a slab P since I saw an article in Bassist magazine years ago. I saw the one that belonged to T-Rex's bass player down Denmark St a good few years ago. For some stupid reason I didn't go and kick its tyres. There was a late 60s Rickenbacker 4005 and a early 50s custom colour P down there too around that time. I didn't try those either. I am a silly boy. Lovely work mate. I've seen a few of yours now and they all look stunning.
  13. I'm currently at six. My first decent bass was a Ricky 4003 which I've still got, a seventies bitsa Pbass, a Squier Bass vi, a Waterstone twelve string a short scale Danelectro in a funny tuning and I've just aquired a really quite amazing Electrical Guitar Company TB2000 that's all aluminium! I don't even miss my old 62 Precision now I've got that.
  14. This thing is utterly monstrous! If only I had the funds. Glwts and have another bump.
  15. I've used guitarbuild.co.uk a fair bit now. Good quality stuff. I can recommend Wudtone for finishing too. Nice any easy to apply.
  16. I've got one of Martin's guitar amp. (Bantam head and 1x12), I went for burgundy snakeskin. They are great sounding amps and well built too. I saw that he was in the process of your amp Sean. Glad to see it's someone from here that commissioned it. I look forward to seeing the finished amp.
