1. Virtual Insanity is on Travelling Without Moving, which was Zender's last album. He 150 million% played on this track, you can hear it by his style! It's just clean bass, with loads of compression. This album was very "produced".
2.
Thats a blindingly good suggestion Higgie - I'd actually not considered that, cheers! Now how much are these trems...more effects porn to look at! When I first got the Meatwad and used it on it's own I would get a really loud hum, but when I used it in a pedal chain - so long as it wasn't the last pedal in the chain, it was fine. I contacted Mario who said it was a ground wire problem and he offered to repair it but it's never the last pedal in my effects chain anyway so it isn't really an issue.
Hi mate! The Valcoder is $139.99 + $20 shipping and duty charges from Tonefactor in the US. That's the place I'd recommend buying from! I've got one and I absolutely love it. The LED is white and superbright, and it interacts with the knobs, ie, depending on where the depth is set you get a really faint dimming, or complete on/off flashing, and it flashes in time with the rate, so you get a visual indication of your settings just from the LED alone
3. I don't need either pedal, but what SWEET paint jobs.
4.
After spending much of my time time being a pedal board voyeur I think it's high time I got pics of my board on here. I'm reluctantly considering popping a cap in my bassdrive's ass - purely for size reasons. I actually love this pedal, specially on comp cut mode but I can squeeze another couple of pedals in it's place. One of them would have to be a replacement od/distortion and I'm thinking of going down the Hyperpak route so I can maximise the space I have left - which will hopefully be for a delay. I'm looking at a a carbon copy or a Boss dd? of some description. But then again I'm also thinking of getting a trem. So much gas, so little space - woe is me
You seem to be forgetting that Catalinbread do a Trem the size of a Hyperpak You could easily fit them both and a carbon copy in the space between the Fulltone and Wah.
5. Gah, if I weren't skint I'd have that Low Pass Filter
6. If for some reason you end up having to the sell the pickguard seperately - I'm your man. Cheers, James
7. Cheers Dave! Bumpity Bump!
8. Pics now added
9. Hump de Bump! Had some interest but as of yet everything is still available! Come on people, get buying!
10. I've just checked the site and it's 5.3 ohms? So will this only work with certain heads?
11.
Thanks Nick Its great to be back. Was mucking around on a beach on Friday in 80-plus degree heat .... the pilot on the flight back said "the temperature at London Gatwick this morning is -7 degrees". Bloody great!
I had the same thing coming back from Australia! Came back from 30 odd degrees Celsius to -4 Can you tell me the weight please? Thanks James
12. You all know what these babies are!! Absolutely brand new condition, with Lakland hard case. This bass isn't mine, it belongs to my dad. He's only selling as he wants to buy an old Jazz! It's absolutely immaculate having only seen 1 or 2 gigs. Candy Apple Red finish, P body with Jazz neck, rosewood fretboard with pearl block inlays, and I think this came factory installed with a Lindy Fralin pickup in it. Lovely old school thump to bright and zingy P tones and everything in between!! He'd like £600 for it. Pics: Please note - Comfort Strapp not included
13. Everything is available seperately basically the first person to make me a serious offer get's whatever they want
14.
And how much for both cabs?
PM sent also
15.
What impedance / wattage are the two cabs? I've an Ampeg 8x10 for trade, but buying is also an option...
Hmm, 8x10 is a bit too big for me I think! As much as I'd love to have one...The reality is I can't transport it so it's no good to me! Sorry! Both cabs are 8 ohms, the 1x15 is rated at 400 watts, and the 4x10 is 800 watts ( )
I'm interested in the 115 if you'll split? Chris
I'll split
16. Ok here we have a recently serviced EA iAmp 600 with built in Sabine Tuner. It pumps out 300w at 8 ohms, or the full 600 at 4 ohms. Very clean and HiFi sounding, with lots of tonal control. It's a really nice head, I'm just looking for something a bit dirtier! The cabs are the 1st gen models, black speakers with yellow backing around them. Both excellent cabs, very light too! They are in as new condition, apart from some additional cat hair on the carpet All items have seen less than 5 gigs! The EA isn't immaculate, but it's not been beaten to buggery either! I'd be looking for £325 for the 1x15 (SOLD), £300 for the 4x10 (SOLD), and £offers for the iAmp Particularly interested in anything Aguilar, and Ampeg. Would also be interested in more light-weight solutions! The Amp is currently in a beaten up Warwick Rockcase that I will chuck in for a tenner if you want it
17. If there are no objections I shall pass it on to mistahbenn then!! PM with your address please mate!
18. BOLLOCKS why am i always late
