1. Here is the bass that made me sell my 1999 Teal SR4. 1989 (birth year - woohoo!) Stingray 4 - Trans red, clear pickguard, 2EQ, stunningly beautiful birdseye maple neck and fingerboard, plus Hipshot Detuner and Dunlop Straplocks added by me:
2. Here for sale are my Dad's Markbass Cabs. In decent overall condition having been gigged fairly regularly - The odd scuff mark but no tears or anything serious. These cabs are light as a feather and sound great, but Dad want's a change so here they are up for sale: £350 each or £650 for both. Would prefer bank transfer, or cash on collection. Courier can be arranged at buyers expense, but would prefer collection from Chingford, East London. Cheers
3. I borrowed both of these from Steve a while ago, and both are fantastic. The Angler is ASTOUNDING for low gain OD sounds, and the Fuzz Face has a great vintage texture to it. Both brilliant pedals and at reasonable prices too. Couldn't hope to deal with a nicer bloke either. Have a free bump!
4. Absolutely gorgeous! If I had £2k to spend this would be coming to me!!
5. I'll take the Incubus book, pm your details! Cheers
6. Selling the Stingray has brought me down to 6 - But i'm still trying to offload my Fender/Allparts Jazz as my target is 5 also Forgot to say in my original post that that is an astonishing price for what you're getting. A LOT of bass for the money there folks. Good luck with the sale (although it doesn't look like you'll need it!)
7. Simeon bought some straplocks off me - Paid very quickly and the communication was excellent. Nice one mate, hopefully deal with you again in the future. James
8. First dibs if you don't get on with it!
9. Looking good dude! Moving the wah off the board is a smart choice - They take up so much room! Might as well carry a board and a wah, rather than a board with a wah on it and then 2-3 seperate pedals! Ps the sale on my George L's fell through so if you need any, hit me up!
10. Lovely bass Bob. If I didn't need the cash so much I would have gladly part ex'd for this
11.
I really really want a reason to make that preamp, with tant. caps and everything
I've built a few with the Tant caps and they do sound amazing
12.
Cheers Higgie - I pulled the trigger on some this morning so you can probably guess what I'll be doing tomorrow! I only bought the angled ones so far - I'll give you a shout though if I do find I need some straight connectors. Simwells, just spotted your B3K - what do you think of it? Is it as good as people are saying? I thought the youtube demo sounded pretty good through my laptop speakers.
Looks like they've all sold mate I'm afraid!
13. Thor if you're looking for some straight George L's jacks I've got loads I'm not using. PM if you're interested mate! (Or anyone else, for that matter!)
14. Bump and price drop this week only £510 shipped.
15.
It could just be the lighting in the photos but the Root Beer coloured MM's I've seen have been much darker. Looks like you may have an even rarer colour than you think.
+1. I was thinking the same thing.
16. Afraid so mate, these are sold. My quickest sale ever I believe!
17. I find you can never have too many pairs of straplocks sitting around ready for when you purchase a new bass! It seems my Dunlop supply has been depleted though, and I'm left with a couple sets of Schallers I've taken off of basses I've bought. I have one complete set of Schaller Straplocks (strap & bass ends) that I'd like to sell for £10 posted, or trade for a set of chrome Dunlop Straploks. I also have a spare set of just the bass ends Schaller locks that I will chuck in with the Complete set if you want them or £4 posted if you just want the buttons and not the complete set. Or alternatively trade for the equivalent Dunlop parts if anyone has any spare! Cheers *SOLD*
18. Geoff is an "all round" nice guy. Sorry mate, had to get that in there Just bought a set of strings from Geoff - Very reasonable price, good communication, and they arrived quickly and well packed. Couldn't have hoped for a better transaction. Highly recommended, folks.
19.
Hi Higgie! Do you have a Musicman Hardcase?
PM sent.
20. I had one of the old big ones for a while, it was great, but I just didn't use it. I've also had a Deep Impact and sold it for the same reason. I guess it's worth it if you're going to get the use out of it...
21. Thanks guys, it is indeed stunning and unfortunately is still here. If you're looking for a nice Stingray at a bargain price, surely this is it!!
22. Don't do it!!! You'll regret it!
