I'm saving up for one ๐
-
Just wondering if anyone on here uses a noise gate with high gain distortion and fuzz pedals to stop noise when not playing to stop the unwanted noise and if so which ones do you use
-
Sadly pubs clubs and music venues were on the way out anyway due to a number of factors I think Covid-19 just banged the last nail in the coffin
-
I would see how the kit is before buying custom tools sometimes these kits ain't bad and can be sorted with general household tools if you bought decent files saws etc etc things get silly pricey
-
Might be worth speaking to TimAl on here he runs scratchit who make custom pickguards and he's pretty helpful
-
I'm assuming it's volume pan bass mids and treble that's the normal set up on the DE basses
-
Lol point taken I'm a tool there I admit it ๐
-
I know but watching it once was enough lol
-
You bar Steward now you have induced an even bigger gas attack lol
-
I have the mk 1 with the humbucker and emg electronics and it's awesome so much versatility and the neck is lovely on mine and it's not too heavy I think you will like it and the new one is not to metal if you get me so could be used in lots of different settings and as Fender own Jackson now might be much like your jazz special
-
I have the Original DE bass and that is amazing and a keeper and you know how I go through basses lol
-
Big Jackson fan and huge Megadeth fan what do you guys think of this not really sure why it is a Dave Ellefson signature as I have never seen him play one but it is a little like his old Peavey signature bass but on most recent Youtube videos he uses his trusty old signature bass but I still need this lol https://www.jacksonguitars.com/gear/basses/x-series-signature-david-ellefson-concert-bass-cbxm-iv/2916741503

Ive dealt with Alain before so know he is a good guy and this time was no exception a nice easy deal super fast delivery and excellent communication what more can you ask for? A credit to BC
-
Just bought this from our very own ead but the day after I bought it I bought a very power unit and another psu from another bc member and wasn't going to back out of buying this as the deal was already agreed Heres a link to the original ad the unit is in the same condition and packet as I received it 30 pounds posted via tracked delivery please as that's what I paid and just want to get my money back or I would be interested in swapping for a tc 3rd dimension chorus pedal or something else chorus wise around the same price point

I really have no idea what's what with vintage instruments but I understand why people coveted certain ones so much and why things that look like they are so much different in price but know I have a lot better idea thanks to all the posts here ๐
-
I agree funnily enough I've been reading the Haynes Fender manual and that's quite interesting but barely scratches the surface as you suggest down the rabbit hole I go ๐
-
I would like to say that in no way shape or form am I questioning any prices or anything like that and if I should not post this could a mod delete it please but I have a genuine question looking in the for sale section here there is a 1960 jazz and a 1966 precision but the prices are really different and I'm genuinely interested in why is one rarer or more desirable or of a better vintage? I'm in no way a Fender expert and I'm honestly curious if you Fender experts can explain Thanks in advance ๐

I've tried a few delay pedals and I'm no way a pedal expert but I'm now using the Donner yellow fall delay and really like it and it's only 20 odd quid I it's apparently a clone of another pedal but I can't remember what
-
I think all things bass have rocketed in price especially strings but effects have gone up lots imo ehx seems to of put there prices up a good bit too I was after a couple of new pedals but thought they were a bit on the dear side so I didn't bother they were mooer pedals and each one was about 25 quid dearer than they were 12-18 months ago
