I've used loads of different in-ear stuff (Sony, JVC etc) but they all seem to colour the sound a bit too much for my liking.
That's why I swear by Sure E2Cs for playing bass - what I hear is exactly what goes to desk.

It's always on sale
Serial Grado user here. iGrado for the gym and '80s for everything else. Top phones with great sound stage, comfortable etc. My only criticism would be they are a bit leaky so others around you will get the benefit of what you are listening to.
Me too, however I bought some 125s and ended up preferring my ancient 60's so I sold them. I use the 60s every day, perhaps I'm just 'in tune' with them. Of all the headphones I've used, I find using Grados is like sitting in front ofa decent HiFi rather than like wearing 'phones.

Yeah even here at work I can hear the production is excellent

Sounds great, I'll grab this later. Congratulations on completing what must have been a huge project.
Head-Fi is the place to ask, but it appears that somebody already has! http://www.head-fi.org/t/393597/new-se102-is-this-old-e2c-rebranded
Thanks for that. I think I'll stock up on a few pairs.
Thrown some pennies in the hat Ped, def a good cause!
Thanks, that's great! I had the notification email this morning and when I reached for my phone Nellie stepped on me and punched me in the eye! She doesn't like being disturbed lol Cheers Chris

Hi guys I've just met a lovely lady from Worldpay; we're setting up a card payment gateway for those of you who don't use PayPal. It will enable us to reduce prices as they don't take such a cut. Problem is we have about £50 now after having just paid the tax return for Jan and Worldpay setup fee is £150. With the recent development costs we're up against it! Last time I updated everyone I was amazed at your generosity and we managed to completely pay our last bill. Thanks again ped
Wow... that's almost touchscreen!
Lol yep it's very low, but I play with a light touch and I love the clank when you dig in. Absolutely zero fret buzz, though. The neck on this bass is perfect. I'm actually really bad at playing other basses such is my preference for a low action!
Cheers Stef030, it is very well made and British to boot, and yup Ped, we've a Staffie (cross) and he's ace, well spotted . Although his eyes do look a bit odd in the avatar, they're not really that colour!! (ps. if this counts as a bump please delete this post, don't want to break rules )
Lovely, he looks cool. Nellie's eyes look the same in some light, or when she's asking to go to the shops Good luck with the sale ped

There's a cat in my avatar, but it's inside Nellie's little belly <-------------

It certainly used to do this already - perhaps it's been lost in the recent developments. We're planning a proper app at some point, though. Cheers

Hi guys Sorry to do this without much warning, but the new 'classifieds' experiment has now been hidden, so please carry on using the regular sales forums as normal. Apologies if you listed something there recently, but because we didn't enable the paid adverts it should hopefully only be a minor inconvenience at worst. We do plan to use the classifieds plugin at some point, but rather than for private sales we'll modify it to be the BC shop, probably. Thanks for all your feedback in the recent threads about the new system. You spoke (typed, unless you're one of those people who do both in unison) and we listened. Thanks ped

Do some people not have "Messenger red notification" enabled?
ped replied to yorks5stringer's topic in Site News
By default there will be a red notification. adding 'PM'd' to a thread is a good idea, though. I normally do this anyway. -
Has the new classifieds section punctured a little of the GAS?
ped replied to iconic's topic in General Discussion
Yeah, it didn't really have the legs. Never mind. We tried it and listened to your feedback. I expect it to disappear soon to ease confusion as to where to list items. It was certainly interesting to try, and through working on it we have met some new people who will help us with future developments so it served a purpose. Cheers -
BC's new classifieds section - your opinions please
and ......i have several ads in the classifies and apart from 'my content' not displaying my ads, I was just pm'ed with a question on one of them because I wasn't notified of a question to an ad which I hadn't answered ......because I didn't know it was there.....how could I????!!!!!!!!!!
Classifieds show in the 'new content' if selected. Also you can have notifications of questions on your items if you set it via your preferences. -
BC's new classifieds section - your opinions please

It's important that we get the BIG things right. Realistically there are VERY few problems on the sales forums as long as users check the T&Cs, and it's that loose vibe that makes it a natural extension of the forum. We're looking at implementing the subscription fee, one off fee and free listings section asap, so we'll probably hide the new classifieds section soon as to ease confusion. The transition has been a bit messy, but when we're working full time on top of this it's not going to be 100% smooth! As it stands I'm meeting bank people next week to set up a card payment system so those of you who don't use Paypal can use that (though you can also use a card through our paypal as it's a business version). So things are moving on. Thanks for all the detailed replies, it's given us a lot to discuss in terms of additional support as we go on with (hopefully) some cash to throw as the site. ped -
BC's new classifieds section - your opinions please
ped replied to ped's topic in General Discussion
That's what this is! To be honest as I've said we're limited to what we can do by software and funds so to a certain extent opening it up to a free for all wouldn't be productive. When we can afford to we'll see if we can adapt things further, but going on the TB model seems the best route right now. -
I've just realised that TB's classifieds were restricted to supporting members - didn't know that...! I suppose the classifieds thing has never been a driver for me to contribute either here or TB - I just do it because I'm grateful.
Yes it didn't used to be, but I was talking to the owner about it and they have found it's been useful - at the end of the day you can't compare something like eBay of Gumtree to a forum setup, for better or for worse. All have their advantages.
