1. well said shep. yeh its each to your own, i can't think of an effect i dnt like! just some i think are more fun or usefull. its all down to preference. i dnt like the big muff either but i do love my way huge swollen pickle? still a fuzz but a different flavor. andy
 2. ah i see! i had a look at them this morning, didnt have time to check out the samples!looking at so much stuff at the minute! did you have to order them from the states? andy
 3.
My drummer is away all week and we got asked to open for a friends band - so I suggested I did an improv leve Dubstep/wobble set with their drummer and a few MC's. They went for it! So this is my mini set up for Fridays improv show... Wobble tastic!
i see the eventide made its way on! bet that sounds pretty epic! andy
 4.
The hot DI on the Terror cab be fixed with an inline XLR attenuator. Orange should pull their finger out and listen to customers about this, it's far too hot for the majority of desks! At least it has a DI, unlike the AD200B. The lamp looks the same as the AD200B, I'm guessing it's a bulb which won't last as long as an LED. Not heard of many people blowing the lamps, but if they are bulbs rather than LEDs they should at least be easy enough to replace without soldering anything.
yep i think its an easy fix, yeh they should really sort that, shouldnt be expected to by the amp then something else to calm the di. i thought the new ad200's had a di? but dnt they have a line out jack tho? not the same but close enough no? andy
 5. what he said! i really like the sound of em but there a bit to heavy! but like mr dirtyrob said they can do clean but if your looking for markbass clean then its the wrong amp, its more warm and heavy. i never really noticed the one i tried a while back going into really over the top od when i cranked the gain? although that is what happened when i had my ad140b to get it heard in my band it was maxed out and distorted like crazy!! but that was more down to speaker size as i was using a single 15, for both the 200 and the 140, proven as the last gig i did i used a ampeg fridge with the 140 and i was much cleaner! sadly couldnt afford an 810! or justify it! but orange amps sound amazing! def try one out! and ive also heard bad things about the terror bass! but i must say i have never tried one! but the bad things i heard are dif from above, ive heard they've got a really hot di which can clip on going into the pa desk and also i think i heard somewhere that the power lamp blows? amp still works just no light? andy

 12.
By small I mean I can carry it!
haha indeed! andy
 13.
Actually looks like they work identically. This is from the FM4 manual:- "Here’s how it works: FREQ lets you select from a range of different patterns of sequenced wah filter positions. Turn slowly to find the preset that works best for your tune. Q sets the width of the filters. SPEED, as on the original, controls the rate (time) that it takes to cycle through the filters. MODE sets the number of filter steps in the sequence. The Seek Wah lets you choose 4, 6, or 8. The Seeker allows any choice from 2 to 9 step"
ah kinda makes sense i suppose, i new they were close! i only needed the filters so i as above didnt want to get lost in a big multi. andy
 14.
I'll do a demo soon. It's massive! On another note... A few pages back I mentioned my 'summer project' - to use my current pedals to create a 'stripped down' board for smaller shows and for backing MC's etc, rather than performing as Our Helical Mind in general. I've spent a few weeks planning and the board I settled on was a Diago Showman - large by many bassists standards, but tiny for me. It's was the most suitable size for my essentials. Its not powered or cabled yet (plugs in sockets to show me how much space I have) but here is draft 1... Proposed signal chain is... Stage Clix Wireless > Boss OC-2 > TC Electronic Polytune Mini > FUZZROCIOUS Grey Stache > WMD Geiger Counter > WMD Super FatMan > Custom Iron Ether Xerograph (in the space marked with tape) > Moogerfooger Cluster Flux > TC Electronic Flashback Delay The MP-201 will control 3 parameters of the Xero and the feedback of the Cluster Flux. It's likely to change... But this should work nice!
i love that this is your small board! makes me smile! my boards having a refresh atm its gotten a bit samey in sounds so im having a clearout and seeing where it takes me! andy
 15.
That's right, the FM4 version would be much more useful if it's more flexible than the M series version. Still seems like a 1 trick pony to me but if you like it then that seems like the best route.
i think its a bit more versitile, its been a while since i had it, it maybe exactly the same as the one in the m5/9/13 but if you want alot of good filters without the distraction of all the other stuff its a good choice. andy
 16. i know its in the fm4 i really liked the sound, i would used it in breakdowns etc for some strange ambient noise. but again the with the m series you can only change how many steps and there order not the tone of each step which does make it slightly less musical ? andy
 17. really good interview again shep andy
 18. napalm snowball sold pending the norm
 19.
It's a loop. Basically, it allows you to either bypass a part of your signal chain or go through it. With nothing attatched, I would think it would mute your signal.
ah i get that, ive found someone on here with an aguilar mute switch. andy
 20. im based in plymouth man down in the southwest. andy
 21. evening bump
 22.
That's gotta be the cheapest ODB-3 in the world!
+1 someone gonna get a bargin!
 23.
Quite amused to find "mute" under the effects section! One for the purists...
i know i know! just thinking if i can build it for cheaper and put it in a small enclosure it give me room for something much more fun!
 24. all contact issues sorted as im no longer working away. please feel free to pm me on here and you will get a quick reply. sadly the last deal i did on here had alot of problems as you can see ive have had lots of deals that have gone well. andy
