looks like im gonna be changing to a full markbass rig need to downsize my rig a tad and also make it an easier lift as im now keeping my rig at home and the 610 is a pain to get up and down the stair every time. im looking at eventually getting a couple of 410's not sure what type to get tho as i can't find any videos on the markbass site. im guessing there must be a big difference in the sound as otherwise they'd just sell one or the other, so any owners out there want to give me a quick review? the next question is obviously unless i somehow manage to blag a lm800,sd800 or sd1200 head on a serious bargin ill probs be looking at running a single 410 with probs an lm3/lmtube500 at 300w. people think this will be loud enough for a 4 piece rock/punk band? i had an lm2 about 2 years ago but i ran that through my ampeg and that 4 ohms so it was 500w and it was fine but obviously the 610 moves alot of air and its 200w more! ive also seen alot of people just getting 2 210's but i think the single 210 alone in my situation just wont do it, even tho i have read they are quite loud! just looking for your views guys. andy

So took my aguilar pre amp out of the equation, Yeh thats why ive gone with the thinking of ill get a markbass as i can get close to the sound of the db, and im more likely to find one second hand.

Mmmm i had looked at that one but the painting of it kinda put me of even tho the price is good. im waiting on a couple of pm's also looking on the markbass site the big bang looks cool! andy

thing is th db is a bit overkill for me really! also to throw a curveball what are peoples views on the ta501 markbass head? seems to have alot more going on than the standard lm2/3 i think im gonna go down the markbass route after listening to a few videos ive remebered how much i liked the lm2. andy

yeh the genz is very clean, wasnt really a fan when i tried my bass teachers but maybe worth another try! andy

sadly looks like ill be changing my head, im gutted love my db750 im looking to use not all the money from my db750 sale to not only get me out of a whole but also get me a reasonably powerfull head. im thinking no less than 500w at 4 ohms, ive had a lm2 and through my 610hlf it was plenty, but dnt seem to be many lm2's around atm so im probs gonna go with a lm3, but im also thinking of going for the aguilar th500. just wondering what you guys would go for as they seem to be around a similar price? andy

just get a dummy load to go in the output and it be fine, however its a very heavy di box! id be more tempted to get the mini svt that not valve! can get a close enough sound and is really light and if your going straight into the pa i doubt you need something as heavy or big as the svt. andy
