  1. Sold some Straplocks to S'manth - a total pleasure to deal with.
  2. Sold Dave a pearloid scratchplate - perfect transaction, and lovely guy to boot. A pleasure, sir.
  3. Four channel mixer, boxed, with PSU and instructions. Fully working. Price includes UK shipping.
  4. **Metal ones sold** As per photo, 2 x metal plate, 1 x wooden block. These are about £15 each, new. £10 for it, shipped, sounds fair to me. Reasonable, too. So buy it!!
  5. Reasonable condition, fully working, usual Velcro on base (included for free). £20 inc. shipping, anyone?
  6. On hold pending….Found when moving house. The MIJ / CIJ Fender Geddy Lee Jazz bass is long gone. Unsure of price - £15 posted seems fair.
  7. One pair of straplocks, only I’ve no idea what bass they came from. They aren’t Dunlops or Shallers, and look pretty decent and substantial. I found them in a drawer during a house move. They aren’t from a Fender, but may be from a Spector. Or a Ricky. Or a Musicman. Or a Warwick. Or a Sadowsky. Or something else. (Fickleness guilt trip pending). Anyway, if you want them, £10 and they are yours, inc. posting.
  8. Another dodgy meeting in a Tesco's car-park, this time with Captain Rumble, to add to my list. John bought my Mesa Subway 1x15 cab, and was an absolute delight to deal with. He even had a minor RTA on the way over (a van driver with tunnel vision tried to scupper the deal), and was still bang on time. Top guy, could have talked for hours, but sadly couldn't. Maybe next time, and enjoy the cab, John. BTW, we both agreed on the sentiment that there's no safer place to shop than on Basschat.
  9. Sold a pedal to Jackopie1, a newbie on here, but he's already mastered PMs and was an absolute gent to deal with. Welcome to Basschat Marketplace, sir - there's no better nor safer place for us bassists.
  10. @Jackopie1 You have a PM from me, with the details in it. Have you seen it?
  11. Cool - do you know how to use the private messaging thing on here?
  12. Tech 21 VT Bass Deluxe preamp pedal - fully working, and a lot of fun. Six different programmable settings, easy to tweak and save on the fly, and a DI out too, but if you're reading this you probably already know that. Another solid 7 out of 10 on my own scoring system, so there's no arguing about that. No box or tin - 'She' even got them in the divorce, kinda, but the velcro on the base is included at no extra charge. Here's the official bumph: "The Deluxe version of the SansAmp VT Bass features a combination of a warm, all-analog signal path and convenient digital recall. There are 6 program locations and dual inputs for two instruments to be on-line, ready to go. Create three custom tones for each input or use all six locations for a single instrument. And you can program the FX loop to engage your favorite effect each time a so-designated preset is selected. Super simple to operate, changes can easily be made on the fly –without having to refer to the owner’s manual. You just turn the knobs to a setting you like, double click on a footswitch and it’s saved in that channel. You can custom tweak and program six of your personal sounds, from vintage clean to gnarly overdrive to crushing distortion." The link to the manual: Click Here £150 shipped, or discount available if you collect.
  13. Sold - EBS Octabass Blue Label - bought it for one song in the set, but the song got binned so up goes the pedal. Works perfectly, one scuff but overall, a solid 7.5 out of 10, condition wise. No original box, but will be shipped in a pedal box, and free velcro on base included. £75 inc. P&P shipped, or discount available if you collect.
  14. I must resist - She Who Must Be Dismayed would nail my gonads to a garden fence post, for sure.
  15. **Sold** We fell in lust over the internet, and when we met it seemed perfect……until I hooked up with an old flame, and now it’s over. In other words, saw this on the Bass Bros website, and decided I had to have it. However, the old P bass is now getting all the love, as it suits the band’s sound better, so this has to go. It’s a 2020 Burnt Amber 3 band 4H in superb condition, and weighs in at 8.75 lbs. Case candy included, but it lives in a Hiscox case, as I’m not a fan of Musicman cases. I left the original case at Bass Bros. Happy to ship at your cost and risk, or can do a halfway meet within reason. Any trial welcome. The only trade I’d consider is for a Fender American Professional ii Precision in black and maple - how’s that for specific? 😎
  16. Shopped with Will recently, in person, and can only say good things about the experience. Bass guitar shopping as it should be.
  17. Very nice classical guitar that I bought on a whim for £150, but I haven’t got the time to spend on reviving my classical playing. Also, house move pending so it needs to go, hence the bargain price. One of the photographs shows the bumph from the original advert, to give you an idea of the quality. It does sound very nice indeed. Any trial welcome, and I can ship it at your cost and risk - it is a nice sturdy case.
  18. Update - I’m moving house very soon, so this needs to go. Now £700 - any less, and I’ll keep it 😎 As per the title, and in vgc (9.5/10 on my own ratings scale, so there’s no arguing). Absolutely superb cab - my other one is a keeper - that I can’t justify keeping, especially as we’re moving to a smaller house. Any trial most welcome, happy with half-way meet within reason, and I can now ship - add approx. £70 for shipping with insurance. If it's any less, I'll refund you the difference. No trades…unless you have a Fender American Standard Precision in black/black/maple in vgc, or a Fender American Professional (i or ii) Precision in black/black/maple, also in vgc - cash either way to sort out respective differences, obvs. Hard to price, as there’s none around, nor likely to be for ages, I’ve read on here, but I think £700 is a bargain - virtually as new, and I dread to think what the next cabs will sell at, when they eventually hit the shops. 19. I’ve shopped with Mark / Bass Direct a fair bit over the years, and have always found him to be very helpful and accommodating. If you ask for his opinion, he’s happy to give it, and it’s always been sound advice offered, and based on experience.
  20. Immaculate condition, with manual, bag and tags. Fabulous 800watt amp. Everything works as it should - it’s a Mesa. Unwanted part of a complete rig purchase, and as I have the D800+, this one has to go. No trades, peeps. You’re very welcome to try before you buy. Happy to post at your cost/risk.
  21. As per the title, drilled for various PSUs, otherwise good condition. £25 inc. shipping within the UK.
