1. Nope, your mind is fine. Call it BassChat discount, if you will. I'd much rather sell them on here, than Ebay, hence the lower price.
2. Nice gear Mike, but not what I'm looking for, I'm afraid. (I think the value is anywhere between £700 and £1000 - whether I get it or not is an entirely different matter!)
3. Dire finances mean that they are now on Ebay, but I'm still open to offers from anyone on here.
4. A 'key change of words via edit, now for sale or open to swaps' type bump
5. No - not sold - he was just giving a gude on the price. They are definitely still for sale!!
6. F/S Ashdown ABM cabinets, 1x15 300W In very good physical condition - excuse the picture quality, it's a phone camera special The 1x15 has just started to buzz and flap a bit, so suspect the speaker is on its way out. So........either take it as is with an allowance on the price, or I can replace the speaker (1x15 300w Celestions spotted on the internet for £95) and ask for a bit more money. If you don't know the story, Mark Gooday (aka Mr Ashdown) wanted two speaker cabs that would fit in the boot of his Porsche Boxter, hence got his lads to design these. Make me an offer. I'm in Birmingham, and visit Oxford regularly - would prefer to meet up or deliver within a reasonable distance for some fuel money, rather than entrust to a parcel company but ultimately it's your call
7. A 'pictures added' type bump. Oh, and it's in very good condition.
8. Hi, Was looking to convert my 4 string Warwick NT Thumb into a 4 string Dolphin, but may sell or swap depending on what's offered. Thumb details: 97' Warwick Thumb NT with the wenge neck, and original Jim Dunlop recessed straplocks and the brass Just-A-Nut. Any takers out there? Regards, Phil
9. Excellent bass, being sold by a top guy - have a complimentary bump, for advice given on the phone the other night - thanks.
10. Thanks for the comments guys; it was good to meet you both, and so far so good with the Lakland (I would like to say that I've now met about a dozen fellow BCers since joining a year ago or so, and have traded from afar with a few others, and every one has been a thorough gent - what a top class community this is, and it's a pleasure to be a part of it) Regards, Phil
11. Just bought a Lakland DJ4 from Pete - pleasure to meet and deal with, and top bass too. Many thanks.
12. Long overdue feedback, but did a swap deal in a Tesco's carpark with Colin - wish I could remember what I brought (it's an age thing) - but I was very happy with the two guitars I walked away with, and Colin was a real gent to deal with.
13. I've just sold a Sandberg to Alan - lovely guy, and a pleasure to meet him. (I'd just like to add my seal of approval to all the others on here)

15. ....and it still is - honest! (Thanks Mark)
16. I think that will be my next step, although I initially thought there may be some interesting swap deal to be done via this forum. Oh well, I'll give it a day, then hang a price on it - and thanks for the kind words.
17. .....or would consider a swap for a 4 string bolt on Warwick Dolphin...............or something Jazz-esque.
18. ...or my Musicman Sterling HS with natural finish, currently posted on this very forum at: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=44082
19. You can - it's a five way switch, but it still doesn't quite fit the overall sound (just a feeble excuse for a GAS attack, truth be told!)
20. Rowbee - It extends the bassiness on offer, big time. Trouble is, it's that tight punchy sound that I'm after, but can't quite dial in. I can't complain about the guitar; merely about my own fickle nature and ever changing preferences, and subsequent cost. Jigsaws in the next life, methinks. Jigsaws and a healthy bank balance = achievable Bass guitars and a healthy bank balance = impossible
