  1. The title says it all, pretty much, except for vgc, just under 10 lbs in weight, Hiscox case (branded Sound Control), and I’m now just using my Spectors, and need the cash. Happy for a socially-distanced meet in a park if you’re local and want to try it first. Check my feedback thread for reassurance of a good deal. No trades, and can ship at your risk/expense - I reckon about £30-ish, insured.
  2. A big thank you for both the orders, and the lovely feedback guys. I still have a few paperback copies in my possession if anyone needs that special Christmas gift for themselves, from themselves. Drop me a PM if you’re interested, and thanks again, everyone 😎
  3. Bought Mike’s Stomp - top guy, perfect transaction. Phil
  4. **Reduced to £250** Helix HX Effects, in superb condition. Home use only, no gigs (obvs), and still has the plastic screen protectors. Complete with box, PSU and bumph. A serious bit of kit, with more features than I’ll ever use. Full details here: https://uk.line6.com/hx-effects/ Save about £100 on a new one, with my almost new one - check my feedback for reassurance of a pain-free transaction and quality item. Stick £8 on the price for UK insured shipping.
  5. EHX Pitchfork in vgc with PSU, box, instructions, box candy,, and free velcro on base of pedal. Great octaver and/or pitch shifter. Works perfectly, but switched to one of the effects in my Helix, so no longer required. Price includes UK shipping. Check my feedback if you want reassurance, peeps.
  6. Sorry Megwegpeg, no audiobook in my pipeline - not yet anyways.

  8. Thanks for the lovely feedback everyone, and all new orders are now good to go, and will be shipped tomorrow morning.
  9. Thanks for the orders guys, all books are now posted, bar one that’s going tomorrow morning. You’ve made an old man quite moist.....around the eyes, and a local postmistress quite happy too.
  10. I’ve only finally gone and done it, as in written a book! It’s all about my many years as a bassist mainly in covers bands, what made me do it, how many basses and amps I’ve bought and sold (gulp) mainly on here, but mainly about the fun I’ve had, and funny things that have happened along the way. I’ve tried also to share some of the advice and knowledge I’ve acquired that might prove useful, IMHO, obvs, as da kids say. Ultimately though, I hope it makes you smile, and you find it enjoyable. A big thank you to @Dave Vader bassist and author of this very parish, who provided some wise words and guidance. He said he enjoyed it, as have a few other of my selected guinea pigs / test pilots. Some even said it was very funny indeed, but I’ll let you guys be the judges. It’s in Kindle format at the bargain price of £4.99 (link below), or paperback format direct from me at £8 inc. postage and packing (which is cheaper than it is on Amazon, although it’s up there too if you want to shop there). If you prefer the paperback format, PM me your name and address, and payment preference (Paypal or bank transfer), and I’ll advise accordingly. I’ll even write a signed dedication inside the front cover if you let me know what you want, which may be worth millions when one of my bands finally makes it big.........there again, most likely not! https://eur05.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.co.uk%2Fdp%2FB08CGY1V9X%2Fref%3Dcm_sw_r_em_api_wI0GFbPQ7NSBD&data=02|01||99808ebee8c844256c1608d86e0fd55a|84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa|1|0|637380361560219122&sdata=RmtiUEgYmJOF0HNZAVyeZ%2BFc4y818DMraO%2FBzpL9Z7w%3D&reserved=0
  11. Sold a P bass to Ben. An absolute pleasure to deal with, great comms and prompt payment. Happy to recommend to all.
  12. Thanks, Al - that’s reassuring. I do have a Helix FX, but was trying to knock up a smaller board. I just need the odd key change, worst cases are three semi-tones down, and five up, rather than a whole octave. Do you know of anything else that would fit the bill, rather than the Helix FX?
  13. I bought an EHX Pitchfork on here, and have tried it at home several times, but I’m very unimpressed - is it me, or is it faulty? It does the pitch shift thing well, but really affects the original tone and makes it sound just blurghhhh (my most accurate description). I’m using it as a glorified capo due to our singer - I know, just change the singer - so have it set to fully dry (no mix/blend) and have tried it both up and down a tone or even a semi. Although the resulting notes are corrected and as they should be, it really makes them sound pants, and a world apart from the lovely original unaffected tone I fed in. All advice gratefully received, peeps.
  14. Sold a Hipshot detuner to Stefan. A pleasure to deal with, throughout - many thanks, sir! Phil
