  1. I use iTunes, and purchase any song that I haven’t got, and need, but the song will be downloaded on your PC in M4a format. I then convert it using a M4a to MP3 shareware conversion thingy - your Tascam will probably only recognise MP3 format files. Sounds complex, but it isn’t. I’ll dig out the conversion shareware name tomorrow, if you want it.
  2. First rate chap - good comms, prompt payer, and a pleasure to deal with - many thanks!
  3. Last reduction - now a firm £500 Black Crafted In Japan Geddy Lee Jazz bass. Made in 2007-8 according to the interweb look-up thingy. It has mild relic-ing (is that even a word?) and EMG pickups, fuelled by a professionally fitted battery compartment in the rear. Both of these were already done when I bought it - the old thread is here: It weighs 3.75 kilos, or 8.25 lbs in old money. Condition wise, I’d say 7.5 out of 10. There's a couple of dings as per the photos, but it’s generally in vgc. If I can find the white pickguard, I’ll include it too. Plays very nicely and yes, ‘that neck’ is superb. If you’re local, you’re welcome to come and try it. Spring sale (incoming, so needs to go). No trades, please. Okay with a halfway meet within reason - I’m near Minehead in Somerset. Happy to ship too, as I have an okay-ish hard case for it, and a decent cardboard box too. Add £40 for shipping (UK only) with insurance and if there’s any change, I’ll pass it back to you.
  4. I’ll be in Milton Keynes on Saturday, and near Oxford on Sunday. Happy to bring this bass with me, if anyone’s interested.
  5. No trades (okay, maybe a Spector) Only made in 2013, and sold for about £2,100 at the time, I’m told. Weighs 9lb 3oz and is in vgc. I’d give it 9/10 on my own scoring system. Comes complete with the proper case and all the candy (covers, thumb rest, etc). Any trial or test is most welcome, coffee provided too. Happy to meet half way within reason, or can ship for whatever it costs with insurance (£40’ish?) as I have a decent box (ooh err). 6. Sadowsky NYC Deluxe 4-21 flame maple, caramel burst, with a Pau Ferro fingerboard. 4A flame maple top, 2 band eq with VTC. Weighs in at 7lb 15oz (3.5 kilos). I bought this new for £3,600 five months ago to be the bass to end all GAS, but after a few gigs (without it, it’s never left the house) I’ve realised I won’t ever use it in the sort of places where I gig. It’s immaculate, and is staying that way. Any trial or test is most welcome. Here’s a link to the original BassDirect ad: http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/Sadowsky_DLX_Satin_4_Caramel.html Here’s a bit more spec: Body - Alder chambered Top - 4A Flame maple Neck - Maple, 34” scale Nut width - 3.81cm Fingerboard - Pau Ferro Fingerboard radius - 12”, 21fret Pickguard - Parchment Pickups - Sadowsky Hum Cancelling Preamp - Sadowsky, 2 band, VTC Bridge - Sadowsky, high mass Tuners - Hipshot Ultra Lights Case - Sadowsky Softcase Happy to ship anywhere (I have the Sadowsky case and box), but I want the money in my bank account before it leaves here, and I’d strongly recommend a quality courier and insurance. I’ll get some nice photos done outside if it ever stops raining here. Stop Press - still raining, so here’s some fresh indoor shots, taken without a flash:
  7. TC Helicon Mic Mechanic - beef up your vocals, with a bit of tone correction too. No PSU, excellent condition - £50 Sold - TC Helicon Voicetone C1 Tone Correction TC Singles Connect - PSU, three mic link cables and three DC link cables i.e. you can link the two pedals together, and two more TC vocal pedals if you have them. Excellent condition - £40 £5 each extra for shipping, or both sold and shipped together for £90 Reason for sale? Great kit, but I’ve bought an all in one VoiceLivePlay which does the lot.
  8. Tech 21 VT Bass Deluxe. Lots of lovely Ampeg tones in a compact pedal with A/B switching for two basses, and/or six presets.VGC, although no box nor PSU, nor any Velcro! Manual is online, anyways. Please add £10 for UK shipping and I’ll refund you any change.
  9. Sorry, sold elsewhere, and forgot it was still on here. I’ll update the ad now.
  10. This post cannot be displayed because it is in a forum which requires at least 1 post to view.
  11. Lovely clean boost pedal, but also has the ability to add some nifty overdrive too. Boxed, and no velcro! Can ship for £5, UK mainland only.
  12. As per the title, really. Lovely pedal, very nice overdrive tones, vgc, complete with box. Price includes UK shipping.
  13. TC Electronic Polytune Noir, with box and free velcro on base. Works perfectly. Price includes UK shipping.
  14. ....er, except me when it sells! It is very good, but my Bergantino amp pretty much does the same job for my (simple) needs. Thanks for the nice words, chaps.
  15. PJB Bighead for sale - vgc. Includes cables, pouch, instructions and box. Not getting used, as my new amp has a headphones socket. Price includes UK shipping. Here’s the official bumph from the PJB website: The PJB BigHead is not big at all. In fact it is barely larger than an iPhone. The “Big” is about the sound. It functions first as an awesome bass headphone amplifier with 2 band EQ ( +/- 18db @ 60 Hz and +/- 18dB @ 5KHz) set for optimization of all kinds of bass instruments. Unlike consumer electronic MP3 players and smartphones that have very small power output of around 20 milliwatt to drive headphones, the BigHead has more than 10 times the power. This contributes to a far more exhilarating listening experience with increased resolution and dynamics. Even if you are just listening to music, the BigHead will be a great improvement to your regular headphones, adding more listening pleasure. A more important function of the BigHead is being a recording tool both in digital and analog. As an Analog Digital Converter, it has the finest BURR BROWN digital components. The USB out is 48KHz 16Bit digital conversion. In other words, recording your bass into Pro Tools will give you exactly what you wish for and absolutely nothing else. Maybe you need an analog preamp. The Big Head can do that too. It will provide up to 12dB of gain and better than 96 dB signal to noise ratio. Just use the headphone out jack to feed an amp or mixer. It is also a perfect match with PJB powered monitors, the PB 100 or PB 300. It has an internal lithium-ion rechargeable battery that is fed by its USB jack, so any computer or appropriate cell phone charger can charge it in less than 3 hours, but it can play for up to 8 hours.
  16. No trades, please - sale only. I’m going to regret this, however....for sale is my secondhand 2006 Warwick Corvette Doublebuck in good condition with a cool “lived in” look, and scores 7/10 on my own unique scoring system. The bass has been fully cleaned, frets polished and had a basic set up and fitted with new Labella flats. The bass comes in a padded gig bag, and features; Ash body, trans black finish, 2 x MEC pickup, 2 band MEC eq, 2 x series/single/parallel switches, ovankol neck with wenge fingerboard. Made in Germany. Weight: 8lb 10oz/3.9kg Pop in if you want, and try it. Happy to ship, as I have a decent box for it. Guess about £25 should cover tracked and insured shipping.
  17. Never gigged - black leather strap from Pinegrove in Hebden Bridge. A lovely piece of thick but soft leather: should last for years. 3" wide and standard length, so adjustable from 38" to 54". Strap end holes are punched for Dunlop straplocks. These are £60 new, so this is half price for what is essentially a new strap. Shipping included, UK only.
  18. You all know the score with these. VGC, and boxed, and working fine. No longer required, as my new amp has a compressor built in. Price includes UK shipping.
