1.
These are great rigs...
Great rig. Great price! No brainer really. On fleabay now for considerably more...
 2.
Nice rig and a very good price. I'd have this if I didn't have a PA already. GLWTS
Thanks for the +1. Surprised it's still here really. 2 or 3 gigs and it's paid for!
 3. Great stuff! I ended up watching all the chicken fights as well. Compulsive viewing!
 4.
I have four different Barefaced cabs and I'm getting worried. How on earth can I come up with a consistent motor vehicle analogy that will neither break down under stress (or on the A312) nor attract The Wrath Of Stevie? Christ! I'd almost rather get into another discussion about The Blessed St. Jeremy with a bunch of Corbynistas on the Election thread ...
Honda's have a good track record I believe. The words of the breakdown guy who towed my Citroen back from Wales...
 5.
AER Amp One. Throws out a huge amount of volume belying its size; enough for a pub gig
Nearly mentioned that one but I don't think they have a speaker out? They have a line out I think. Besides that, I've never known anyone with an Amp One that needed an extension!
 6. Sold a Mac to Owen. Nice and easy deal. Simples! Thanks again Owen. Cheers Dunc
 7.
Promethean 3110 still available new. And it's a good little amp!
Ah! it is indeed! Really light little thing that sounds great. I used to have one but bought the P5110c to replace it. Looking back I should have stuck with the 3110. Half as light and half the price!
 8.
If I'm undestanding this right? Ibanez Promethean P5110c Ibanez Promethean P3110c Redsub BT5110c Harley Benton BA5110c Ashdown Mibass 2.0 combo Sure there's loads more but becoming rarer.
All of the above have extension speaker sockets. Some run at 250w as a stand alone combo and 500w with their matching extensions (or any other 8ohm extension). The P3110 is 300w stand alone and 300w with the extension (something to do with the windings). All have to be bought secondhand now though.
 9. Well, with a coat of emulsion and a Viking funeral it would probably look ok.

 11.
Do it Dunc you'll never get an opportunity like this again!
Probably not. The wife isn't in!
 12. Great guitar, in great condition for it's age. Some swirly (but hardly noticeable, that would probably polish out) scratches/impressions on the back and a ding in the upper bout (tried to take a photo of it). Low action and a pleasure to play. No known issues. Sammick 1997 I believe and a good year it was too. Non original scratch plate. Trades, Barefaced Midget or Compact with cash your way. Try me with other lightweight cabs but no monsters please. Maybe light MIM, Jap, Squier Precision. Will post (at buyers risk) but have no case not even a gigbag. I now have suitable packaging so good to post, or, I could perhaps meet up or buy a case and include that in the sale at cost. Collection and trial from BB22SH preferable.
 13. No No No. Not when I can afford it and need the money for Barefaced things. No Ash. Just no.
 14. Great little pedal. Only used a couple of times. Bought for yet another project that didn't happen. A couple of tiny chips to the paint, which I've tried to show in the photo's. They must have been there from new as it's hardly been out the box. I've misplaced the destructions but the review below explains how it works. They are also available online. 15. I use an Ashdown Mibass 2.0 1x10 combo. It pushes 400w. We always have PA support and so it's only needed as a monitor. We played on Saturday at a venue that turned out to only have PA tops and no facilities for bass, drums or guitars! We had no choice but to get on with it. The place was packed with around 250 folk. I was more than worried that the bass would be lost. The little bass combo greatly surprised me and did it's job admirably. No problems on stage and absolutely none out front. It was on about half volume. Personally, for me, I don't think there's any need for a huge setup anymore and will stick with the 1x10. Well, until I get Barefaced GAS again!
 16. Sold an iMac to Mike. Easy transaction. Fat payment and good communication. Deal with confidence. Thanks Mike...
 17. I see a post for a number of very cheaply priced basses for sale on here. I wonder if anyone who doesn't believe in making a "profit" has looked to buy one of these? Surely, equity is profit? Personally, I've bought and sold on here. I may have made a grand sum of £25 profit once! 99% of the time I've made a loss. Sometimes huge losses. I never intentionally buy to sell on but circumstances change, especially when you are the only band member willing to buy any equipment needed. I may have sold something for a small profit that I've bought on here but have always added extras such as gigbags (which belonged to me), to the sale, that way at least I can recover some of the postage charges that I've paid. Packaging and time must be worth something too? Another point is, how many folk selling something on here actually get what they are asking? It either has to be cheap or they accept offers by PM. PM's are private and so the rest of BC do not know what the item actually sold for or what the deal actually entailed. This brings me back to the original point of the "very cheaply priced" basses on here. I saw them and did not buy one as in doing so, I would have felt like I was gaining something by somebody else's misfortune. That doesn't change the fact that, the basses belong to somebody else and whatever he wants for them is his business not mine.
 18. Went for a retinal scan today and they put eye drops in that makes vision blurred. Thought it said £465! If only... Dam those retinal scans! GLWTS
 19. Once had a couple of lads buying me pints for no reason in the local pub (a long while ago). Finally one came up and said "Are you Bono"!!! "Ay up am a bloody heck" I replied. Didn't get another pint off them,
 20.
I know you want to go Barefaced but I've now got RCF 745's you can have demo of. Easily put the full band through them and superb for vocals.
Thanks for the offer Si! That's really kind of you. It's a minefield out there but after days of searching, I've definitely decided to buy the Barefaced. Hopefully, pay for them Friday and then "The Wait" begins! I'll keep you posted!
