Someone who continually turns up at least 40 minutes late is taking the p*ss, the rest of the band should be having a word. Solution, book a rehearsal for 8pm but don’t tell the singer, let him/her think it’s booked for 7pm, see how they feel when they are first to arrive and sit around for at least 20 minutes before the rest of the band arrive.

Sadly this is the problem with the current situation and having to play outdoors, Winter will be looming fast and that will be that option closed.☹️

Can we get this thread back on track.

I was talking to our drummer on the phone last night and we were discussing this very same subject, there are a few gigs started in our area (outdoors) and he was pretty sure the bands were playing for free, we were both of the same opinion that our band will not be following that path.

I wonder if the bands are getting paid.

Exactly the same here, just heard these guys on Planet Rock this morning, new to me, reminds me of the US Southern Rock stuff I really like, Allmans etc.
