1. What type of 80s metal I wonder, if its 80, s hair metal sounds like my dream band. I live for 80s hair metal, I only have barely enough songs for 1 set at the moment though Love playning def lepp, ratt , jovi etc
 2. Seems a fair price, I think after 96 they started making them with solid wood again, before 96, they were ply and the pickups could go microphonic, they also had smaller pots on them. I am currently looking at reasonable price pre 96 ones as I like the maple fingerboard and hope to get one to customise. Your tele looks super well done
 3. I was recently using my snark headstock tuner at a jam night and the sound waves from the PA interfered with it, luckily I had my 23 year old yamaha yt 2 to plug into which did the trick, I missed aTU2 on ebay today , I like them, they are easy to read, and the tu 3

 5. I am no theory expert but even I was able to spot a song recently , where it said it was in the key of F when it was clearly in C . Also I think its easier to just say a song is in C Than Am surely the major key is the main building block then you can take it in whatever direction you want using the appropriate degree of the scale, although I guess it is easier and quicker to somtimes say Minor, dorian or lydian. I still have to refer to circle of fifths or a chart to sometimes find what key a song is in if its other than C LOL
 6. Brilliant I, m getting one for xmas, I liked the cutaways and the thin body, I normally play a dreadnought , but this will be easier for stuff like intro to sweet child o mine at jam nights. I just missed a ltd ed one with flying triangles against a starfield, got outbid on ebay, was gutted as it looked well 80s
 7. Addicted to love robert palmer very satisfying to play
 8. Keep the squier , classic vibes and vintage modifieds are super, save the money for an amp , case etc for when you jam with others later on

 11.
Well that's not true for starters, unless they're running a unique zero profit margin business model... Alex
Lol +1 the smarmy getts
 12.
Come on, you didn't exactly attempt to fix it - you attempted to take off the bloody packaging!
+ + + + 1 It was not so much a repair as it was removing a mess, a rather unfortunate series of events in all, £40 is a substantial amount for something not fit for purpose, feel for you

On the less well known stuff Rick savage does get more space to play around, but all their big selling songs have 8th root notes going through them
ooh good for me I like def leppard , I play hysteria ' a lot

 17. I have the digitech jamman express too, it did lay unused for a while and I was gonna sell it but have been using it with acoustic guitar lately , it would be nice to have the one where you can store different parts of a song so you can accompany yourself on more songs
 18.
Don't encourage them. The lack of bass players means that an old fart with minimal technical ability like myself can still find places in exciting bands!
+1 lol
