I 'ad a fiver - didn't like it with that curved a board. works better as a four string. plus it's very tricky getting the B string to sound right. really, you can't do five strings with a 34" scale. IMHO. YMMV.

What is wrong with people. You can't currently buy these new, this is as new and £50 cheaper. Buy the thing, someone, do.

I have an as-new Sire v7 five string in black alder with red tort scratchplate and rosewood fingerboard but I'm really looking for a 4 string version of the same bass. If you have a Sire v7 4 in any colour combo also in excellent nick but you fancy a fiver instead I'm happy to do a straight swap. Now open to a straight sale, although I'd prefer a swap. Collection from East Anglia is cheapest for you but I have the original box and will post for cost (around £20).

My Hohner VI B Bass Professional six string bass. Active/passive switch, twin tone, pan, volume controls. Thru body maple neck, rosewood fingerboard. Gold finish metalwork. Home made ramp (but well finished). Dunlop straplock buttons (but not the strap connectors). This bass is in excellent condition. There is a tiny chip on the far edge of the fingerboard above the 13th fret, a small pressure dent on the body and few dark marks at the heel of the neck which are under the lacquer so I guess are in the wood. Wonderful range of tones from Overwater roundwound nickel strings. Spare strings.Recently set up by a pro tech. Cash or Paypal gift only. It has its own wooden travel case made by the last owner.

don't, i'm already making little panting noises. but i need to sell my sixer first. you could try photoshopping your images... they're very dull and have a mild yellow cast. cleaned up the bass looks even more tasty!
