  1. Ludwig Black Beauty 14x6.5” snare drum. Basically unplayed and in immaculate as new condition. Maybe you know a drummer who would want one a few hundred quid less than a new one? I can post in UK
  2. Just sold a bass to Pete. No issues, no fuss , just Basschat at its best. Thanks for the seamless transaction. would do business again.
  3. This is a real sweet bass. It poses a serious problem for me where want vs need are in conflict…😬
  4. 9.2 lbs is the weight - according to the internet. I don’t have scales I’m afraid.
  5. This is the Icarus , Nicko McBrain’s signature oak snare made by British Drum Company. This is an indulgence that I can’t justify keeping in the current climate and if there’s anyone who is a Nicko or Maiden fan, or if you know a drummer would like one of these a couple of hundred quid cheaper than a brand new one then here’s the chance. Its basically unplayed as I had the chance to get one of the very first ones after I’d bought a big BDC kit and I took it. I tend to lean towards my Ludwig snares and whilst I put an evans reverse dot head on it, I still have the original unplayed 14” BDC head that I can put back on it. Sounds incredible as you would expect. But as it turns out - it just needs a new home. I can post within UK, well wrapped and boxed.

  6. Aaargh i bought a P bass yesterday, and I would have taken this off your hands had I seen this 36hrs ago. 🥴
  7. This is my Yamaha BB735a, bought from bass direct around Christmas last year and played about half a dozen times at home - when I was taking these pics I realised I hadn’t taken the plastic controls sheet off it as it has sat for so long in the case now. Comes with a pretty neat Yamaha gig bag. No issues or drama, just a seriously good instrument which feels very like the BB1025x I once owned - real solid build quality. Im playing four string at the minute 99% of the time and I’m gassing for a Steve Harris sig or a USA fender P; so this is sitting idle.
  8. Maiden have a knack of delivering live that has recently seen a resurgence. Songs sound bigger and better live imho when compared to the studio - but thats ok. Live is the litmus paper. Studio only karaoke kings and queens are the festering boil on the derrière of boy and girlband music. Im ok with maiden, and i thought the drums sounded great now he is with BDC. Im a fan for almost 40 years and have loved all the albums except virtual xi. Each to their own i suppose
  9. Just done business with joe to sell him a pedal. No issues, fuss or faffin around. Basschat at its best. Would do business again.
  10. Barefaced one 10 cab, that would pass for brand new. Does the business without breaking a sweat at all and is the lightest loudest cab I’ve ever owned. My orange terror amp and 112 cab look and sound sweet together though and are more than enough so someone else might as well be enjoying this. Comes with the barefaced cover, and I can post within UK for an extra tenner towards the cost of postage.
  11. Cheess 👍🏻
  12. I changed my jazz to a fender high mass and i liked it. Was just wondering if it was a match?
  13. Oh man that is a bass ive wanted for ages but simply didnt have the munny. Enjoy. Love the colour.
  14. Does anyone know which bridge would be a direct replacement for the fixing hole spacing on one of these ? Four a four string. cheers
  15. Darkglass vintage microtubes pedal. If you’re looking at this you know all about them, and this has just sat on my pedalboard unused for too long as the harmonic booster I have does all I need at the minute. Velcro on it can be removed easily. I could post it, but only in UK please.

  16. Rickenbacker basses are the one bass I love to look at but can’t get on with to play. Ive owned three - a fretless 4003, a fretted 4003 and a Laredo with a maple neck. The fretless had a bad bridge pickup and was a shocker to get a decent sound from, so it had to go; the Laredo had a defective truss rod and the fretted 4003 was structurally sound but the ugly cheap plastic U bend had to go and this left a razor edge to carve my thumb to pieces on as I played it. Still love the idea of trying one again as the look is bass kryptonite to me but I can’t afford the financial hit of another disappointment. Maybe there is a reason why very few people play them, as my experience in reality was 3 very expensive shocking wastes of time, money and effort.
  17. Just sold a bass to kevdbass. Great transaction, with no fuss or faffin’ about. Would happily do business again if need arose.
  18. I can’t help you out with how you would go about E-C tuning. The clamp ons suggested are not something I can comment on I’m afraid.
  19. Steinberger 5 string headless bass in gorgeous white finish. No flaws or issues, sounds really sweet and in just about perfect condition with steinberger gig bag. Nothing wrong with this bass at all, I just need the cash freed up so needs to go ASAP. Post included within UK
  20. That gorgeous. Remimds me of my first ever decent bass - an 80’s Charvel/Jackson.
  21. Gorgeous...like just about every Dingwall I really would like to need this bass.
