1. I've an uber graft J 5 string ordered. It's due in September and I can't wait. Has all I like in the spec. none of what I don't like I've already got an ACG 5 string I'm thinking of selling on at the minute if anyone is looking a bargain as I'm committed to becoming a one bass man. I haven't decided fully yet but if anyone is interested it might convince me. . . . . Pic here below of bass considering for sale.
2. I had two spectors but they didn't work for me, I just prefer the passive pickups. Great quality for the money, specially the rebop.
3. I actually commissioned ACG to build me a bass and I suppose that's my sig model, it'll be ready about Sept this yr. All I like about basses, without what I don't. In my favourite blood red crimson colour.
4. Has anyone's signature model ever sold really well....? I've owned a Geddy Lee fender and it was CIJ , a gem. Don't really see a lot of other peoples being that popular or am I missin something. I'd like a sting precision but I don't like the sting thingy at the twelfth fret.
5.
Having a discussion with a friend , about the trends in metal. One of the topics to rise , was the trend for all things angry. Now, back in the '80s it seemed that there were so many Rob Halford wannabes . Most were cack. Some were good. Question is, who started it ?
Johnny Rotten ?
6.
Just the tin....... Pedal is A ok :-)
Thought so.... Just kiddin. Am considering this.
7.
Fabulous pedal, only selling as I have the deluxe incoming. Great condition, comes in the tin ( a bit bashed but works) £90 posted.... Always open to trades
Bit bashed .... ..... The tin or the pedal ?
8. That's a gem. Enjoy. No U bend on her ?
9. I had a five string grind for years, way back and I wish I'd never sold it. Enjoy
10. That is one sweet lookin piece of kit. Nearly bought one a couple months ago, glad I didn't so I can try to raise funds for this one now.
11. Welcome and enjoy. Lots to learn if ya wana take time to listen.

13. Bump
14. Bullet special with buckeye burl mighty appealing too I must say. I will have to apply through the domestic credit agreement department. . .
15.
Sandberg do supply a bald wig and a strap-on beer gut, but I don't think you can accurately replicate the genuine effects of many years of heavy drinking and the psychological trauma of actual hair loss. It never looks convincing... you can't rush the real deal, it takes time...
Workin on the look now for forty years. Don't have a beer gut but the skinhead and psycho-trauma are all present and correct. Am I ready for the sandberg shop yet?
16.
Hi Gareth thank you for the advice, I will gladly follow them The B stands for something much more obvious than Belfast...
In blondes we trust ? Can't beat a bit of the Empire, either upstairs or the lower room stage either which requires considerable skill as it's so small - or it used to be anyhow, I haven't been in over twelve years. It was the first place I've ever seen a singer vomit over the drummer. Quite spectacular when you saw the drummers reaction - on a tiny stage where there's room for a gnat fart and little else. I have such fond memories of sixth form rugby training in that place.
17. Nice bass, I've always admired these but never played one. My young cub is looking for a fiver and something like this would be a possibility. Needs to sell his current four string first though. GLWTS
18. This is a lovely looking relic job. I've been lusting after one of these for a bit but I've a custom build ordered at ACG which needs paid for still. Maybe a Christmas present later this year. If you are a young specimen of a bass player do sandberg do player makeovers to match the bass?
19. Gone
20. This is stunning. But six is too many strings, much the same as yourself ive not got hands capable of hours of playing this. GLWTS
21. I've been using a source audio pro bass distortion for a bit and despite the rather plain appearance I have to say it is a fantastic piece of kit. Don't be fooled by the bland baby blue box. It makes plenty of useful noises but doesn't do the traditional OFD hence the OFD modeler question. Anybody have any experience with one before I decide to buy ?
22.
This is really not sour grapes, but every time I hear a Fodera I think it sounds a bit lightweight... but I've never played one, so what do I know.
Ha... I've never played one neither, so I genuinely don't know cuz I'm about £5,000 shy of the price tag. Like I said though I'd need to live to about 250 before I could afford one. Bang for buck the G+L was a powerhouse, but a little thick in the neck in the tribute series. Good luck with finding your twin HB nirvana. Stingray would be mine, I had a 25th anniversary SR5 with HSS setup and it looked lovely but sounded crap. The stock HH I hear is a total gem.
