1.
and that crappy song from about the 90's that keeps repeating "74 - 75"
The one by The Connells? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-ITv4OBV9c
2. Unless measured by the use of capital, of course, when the part is of good use to get already almost to the sound.
3. B3 <USB> computer B3 <cable> bass B3 <headphones> your head That should do it, shouldn't it?
4. I do, yes. Feel free to ask questions.
5. If you're looking for a fun sampler, the Korg MicroSampler is a fantastic and fantastic-sounding bit of kit, really intuitive, quick to get samples in and playing around, pattern sequencer, effects from the Kaoss series, some very clever thinking went into it.
6. And according to the Wikipedia page, "CEO Kouthoofd has stated that "limitations are OP-1’s biggest feature". The synthesizer's designers attempted to use the limitation of physical hardware to encourage the unit to stimulate creativity, which might become unfocused in a limitless environment". I've always thought of the OP-1 as being very feature rich, funnily enough, although I suppose that comes with a silent "given the size of the thing", which rather proves their point. Or mine. Or something.
7. I think they must have been aware of the VL when they designed it. They clearly have a sense of humour; it's in their name. I'd love to have a play on one. My recent acquisitions: Microbrute Streichfett Volca Keys
8. I had a go at this myself today, with Jockomo aged pearl. Keeping the E and G strings tight helped the whole business be less sloppy than it could have been. I loosened all four strings higher up the neck past the octave.
9. I looked at the pic and immediately saw myself floating upwards into the sky above, escaping the noise. Sort of.
10.
I still asked my wife to put them on
Did they suit her?

12. In great. ace, triffic condition. Boxed and with all the stuff. Never been out of my studio (was never really used, to be honest), and I don't think the previous owner ever removed it from his studio either. It's as good as new, only better, because it's cheaper, and obviously not new. New is rubbish. Old is the new new. Or something. Fifty quid, postage extra at cost (a tenner, or just under, I imagine). Collection welcome from Penge, SE London. No offers please; that's the price. Could be interested in synthy or studio stuff for trades, but no idea what.
13. There is quite literally no accounting for taste.
14. I always wanted one of these: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wA_nLJD-UE Cut to 30 seconds in if you're really busy, or something.
15. You have to respect the seller's wishes, and not interpret them as any kind of slight or disrespect to you. It's simply their choice, their opinion, to which they're perfectly entitled, whoever you are and whatever your reputation. It may cost them a sale, but that is entirely their prerogative. The seller isn't doing anything wrong, or bad, or sneaky; they've simply stated their terms. What you do now is up to you and how comfortable you are with those terms, how badly you want the thing, how much of an inconvenience it is, etc. etc., blah blah.
16. Is it, uh, is it... you know.. er... any good for, uh... well, you know.... ...is it any good for metal?
17. We'd finally learn whether things were good for metal or not.
18. I never play ghost notes in the dark. They frighten me.
19. E smells funny. B has a foreign accent. D sharp is snobby and looks down on you. And hates your kids. G flat crossdresses. And not in a good way, sadly.
20. F is the kind of note that will be very polite and charming when it arrives, and you're delighted it's there, but later, when it's gone, you realise all your silver cutlery is missing. You can tell C sharp has been around when your bins have been overturned and your dog's pregnant.
