  1. I need the cash to fund another purchase so need to sell this baby!
  2. Put it this way. My go-to bass is my Tony Franklin Fender P/J which I adore, but cost me over £1,600. The Fernandes has been my back up and whilst there is obviously a difference it’s less than you’d think. It plays amazingly well and sounds really killer
  3. I love my 350 SMX. It’s well solid 🤘
  4. Duuuudes! This is a steal! I’m in need of the money to fund another purchase so I’m offering this now at £195. It’s a fab bass fo that price. Rare Japanese 80's Bass from Fernandes. Precision style body with Jackson style head. Two pickups and a blend control. Great instrument with killer tone. Clean, decent strings, nice action. However time to let it go to a new home. Good condition with a few small dings and knocks that you would expect from a bass guitar of this vintage.
  5. Dudes. Has anyone got any ideas or expertise on sropping buckle rash? I’m going to start wearing a bullet belt and it’s going to shred the back of my bass if I don’t do something to protect it. I’m thinking about laptop screen protection film or something similar. The bass is nitro painted so I’d like to be able to remove it if possible. Any tips or ideas welcome 👍
  6. Yes and me. I’m going to trade it at PMT for £670 and they will sell it for £850 he said
  7. Selling my truly awesome Sandberg bass. I've owned it for the last 8 years and have gigged and played it extensively, including 2 tours this year. Just come back from Europe touring as a support to Diamond Head, and this bass seriously kicked some butt. I have looked after it for all the time I've had it including regular set-ups. It plays like a dream, and has a wide range of tone. It really can sound evil, with growl to die for. There are a few road marks which I hope show clearly in the photos, although none of this is visible when playing it. Includes original Sandberg gig bag. I'm looking for £695, am based South of Birmingham M42 Jcn 2, can travel a sensible distance if needed to meet. *Trade added* would like to trade for US precision or preferably Tony Franklin Precision
  8. Awesome versatile pedal, can do so many different things. Great tone and effects, plus in built tuner. Includes original box, instructions and supply. Purchased from Bass Direct, in very good clean condition.
  9. Immaculate condition as I haven’t really used it as is surplus. Price £150 posted
  10. Not sure about that specific one but I recently replaced the valve in my 350SMX for a Sovtec 12AX7 from Watford valves and it’s doing a splendid job
  11. I’ve also got the same on order as have an artist deal but if I’m honest I’m not looking forward to going back to class D. The guitar amps do sound great but I’m no sure how the bass unity range is going to work. Have you heard one yet?
  12. Hi guys I'm playing a 4 string with the E drop tuned to C#, I'm using RotoSound Swing 66 - 45 gauge. I quite like the sound and they suit the natural growl of my Sandberg. The main point that I am posted here to discuss is how loose the tension is. I can often find the E string being pushed off the fret board when I'm trying to fret which is annoying. Do you have any suggestions on a better string set to use for down tuning whilst retaining good tension and that will also help with the growl.
  13. Dude. I’ll take it. I’m from brum. Will PM you now
  14. I play through a 350SMX and it brings a smile to my face every time I use it. Its just go so much clean power.
