    Hello all. I have 3 sets of Dunlop straplock strap ends available completely unused as I only use one strap for all of my basses. So if you have a lovely strap collection these could be very useful! No haggling. Ta. £10 for all three sets. Add 2.50 for postage to mainland UK.

    Hello all. I have here a Staff MB350 Jaguar bass. Interesting configuration, 34" scale, twin Musicman style humbuckers, jazz electrics, Jaguar body, slim P bass neck, matching headstock. Has a brand new set of Daddario Prosteels. Also comes with Schaller straplocks, a snazzy space themed strap and a terrible terrible "bag". I bought this on a nostalgia trip as I had one of these as my first bass. Everything works as it should, I have recently set it up with surprisingly low action, good look rosewood fingerboard. PLENTY of turns left on the truss rod. I have recently wet and dried some frets to level them out. There a few beauty marks on the body none of which go through the paint. The control plate is quite tarnished. £85 picked up from Wimbledon or Central London. No shipping sorry.

    Not a fan, G&L covers the P+J and looks better. The P is covered by Sandberg. Not a fan of the new bridge either. The usual Stingray bridge would have made it look different enough to maybe win some fans over.

    Gotoh 201. Best cheapest brand name bridge out there. Chunky, and doesn't look ridiculous. I prefer them over Babicz, Hipshot and Badass. However it's not quick release string changing I should have read the original post better!

    Got mine today as well. Did we all get the NYXL's? Is it basically just a new nickelwound? Funny thing is I only got around to putting the Flexsteels I got at the bash onto a bass two days ago. I don't think i'll be changing from Elixir though! They are absolutely fine strings, but don't get on with the G string tension.

    Just bought a Paulownia wood Santander JB200, cheap as chips jazz bass with rear routing. Going to be putting in a set of Wizard 64' pickups and TI Flatwounds. For £70 you can go far wrong. I have owned a 7 String Santander bass before that was fairly good for the price.     I am finding that the HB Deko Jazzes neck pockets vary wildly in size even with the same models.

    Went for both the cheaper Les Paul and the Jazz. Really desperately need a backup bass and guitar at the moment.

    About 1/2 of them for me have had playability issues, high frets etc. two have had absolute banana necks that couldn't be sorted. They are sold for decoration so you cant bank on it.

    Looking at building a Jazz bass copy, Looking for Fleas Tone in Stadium Arcanum. Currently got. Gotoh 301 bridge. HotRodPickups (Ex Wizard) 64 Jazz set. Kiogan Dual Concentric Pot plate. Hipshot Ultralite tuners. Now on the lookout for a cheap doner body and neck. Really want a Fender Headstock shape. Something with mojo would be lovely!
