1. I have used these in the past with great results. Specifically catered for Drop C from the factory. They also have a "lighter" Drop C set. http://www.thomann.d...rop_c_heavy.htm
2. Hello gents. I have put up a video with a little bit of bad playing and a review of the ordeal! In the video I am using the Wizard 64's with fresh TI Flats. The bass slightly under 6lbs in weight.
3. Gotoh 201. Best cheapest brand name bridge out there. Chunky, and doesn't look ridiculous. I prefer them over Babicz, Hipshot and Badass. However it's not quick release string changing I should have read the original post better!
4. Got mine today as well. Did we all get the NYXL's? Is it basically just a new nickelwound? Funny thing is I only got around to putting the Flexsteels I got at the bash onto a bass two days ago. I don't think i'll be changing from Elixir though! They are absolutely fine strings, but don't get on with the G string tension.
5. Just bought a Paulownia wood Santander JB200, cheap as chips jazz bass with rear routing. http://www.ebay.co.u...K%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Basically wanted a Jazz bass that is as lightweight as can be. Going to be putting in a set of Wizard 64' pickups and TI Flatwounds. For £70 you can go far wrong. I have owned a 7 String Santander bass before that was fairly good for the price. Hopefully this will be similar. I think it looks pretty smart. https://youtu.be/85kW6Pe_fCk <--- My Review
6. I am finding that the HB Deko Jazzes neck pockets vary wildly in size even with the same models.
7. Digital Village in the UK sell them. http://www.dv247.com.../Ascending/-/1/ J&D are the exact same basses as the Harley Benton ones, just without the Wilkinson hardware.
8. Bachs 6 cello suites for bass transcription. Will never learn it but looks cool to bust out a few seconds of it!
9. Went for both the cheaper Les Paul and the Jazz. Really desperately need a backup bass and guitar at the moment.
10. Awesome guitars, the ZR tremolo is awesome on these.
11. About 1/2 of them for me have had playability issues, high frets etc. two have had absolute banana necks that couldn't be sorted. They are sold for decoration so you cant bank on it.
12. Kiogan Control plate is sold. Bridge is SOLD PENDING COLLECTION. Tuners are SOLD.

Hipshot Ultralite tuners. Now on the lookout for a cheap doner body and neck. Really want a Fender Headstock shape. Something with mojo would be lovely!
15. Dean Tropical series 6 string.
16. I actually quite like it, make it long scale, put a pre-amp in it, could get a decent tone out of it.
17.
That looks really nice. I think Thomann should sell those as well. Surely it wouldn't cost them much to do so. Do you also have a jazz bass with a precision neck?
Sold the jazz body as the P neck was a banana with knackered truss rod.
18. P bass HB Body with J bass HB Neck.
19. I meant just the Kiogan stuff with the bell plate
20. I'd take the stack knob plate and electronics, possibly the neck depending on price....
21. Had my first Melon, PB-20 with a knackered truss rod. Ah well
