1. Here it is! Brubaker Brute MJXSC4. The new Singlecut import. Lovely electronics and fit and finish overall. The action is pretty damn low, though might have to shim it to get any noticeably lower. The MM pup really sings in this. An excellent Musicman alternative. The hardware is rock solid. Either way its a nice entry into the Singlecut world, will I keep it? Who knows! Tom Richards (Who was the guy selling them on the Bassdirect stand) Was a lovely chap and I hope he enjoyed his stay in blighty! The neck join is a real deep bolt on. Very interesting. This could be one of the first Brute SC's sold in the UK though I would have to get confirmation from Tom about that. R
 2. Erk. A bass followed me out of the show today. Mrs will kill me!
 3. Pmed, you must put a price on any advert. Please do this ASAP or I will pull the ad.
 4.
Ha read it again, think it says Warwick pro series corvette 5 string ? or something similar.
Why dont you read the sellers guidelines which you should be doing before posting anything? They are the top of the forum. http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?app=forums&module=forums&section=rules&f=19
5. You must state a price for your item. Even if your item is just for trade, you must include your trade valuation of your item as a guide for others seeking to trade. Anything without a price clearly stated will be subject to removal. Also do not invite 'offers'.
Please make amendments to your advert now.
 5. Pretty tatty, but hey it's Trace! http://www.gumtree.com/p/for-sale/trace-elliott-bass-cab/1009731426 I would have it if I could pickup. R

 7. Hmm.. maybe next week, we'll see if i need it!
 8. Hey guys. Tried Email support with no luck. Does anyone use or know how long Pyramid roundwounds are from the ball end til it starts unwinding near the nut? I have a bass that is 34 1/2 scale and is string thru. This is the only Drop C set I can find without having to order custom from outside the EU. It needs to be at least 37 and a quarter inches long from the ball end til it starts unwinding at the nut end. Yes I can get super long scale strings, but not in drop C gauges. Cheers! Rob.
 9. Good one I have seen go for £600. I actually prefer the B301 myself. Single pickup, better looking pickguard shape.
 10.
Successful?
Didnt go for it in the end. I didnt want to run the risk of truss rod problems and a potentially useless bass is not worth £320 for me! Would rather save up the extra 200-300 and get one in decent working order.

 12.
Absolutely. As long as it aint twisted and there is still a truss rod in it.
Presumably a washer over truss nut job right? Otherwise how much do you charge to replace the rod Jon?
 13.
What does he mean by not straight though? Relief or twist?
He claims to not know anything about guitars, he couldnt tell me. Either way would be fairly bad anyway right? EDIT: Just had a message, he says its bowed and the action is fairly high after the 12th fret. fixable?
 14. Hmm just had this message back from him.
Hi, I'm based at Livingston studios in wood green N22 6TR. I'm sorry I have no time to take any more shots as I am working. If you are not 100%, I would recommend not bidding. The bass is not in perfect shape and I expected it to sell cheap. The neck is not straight but the pickups sound incredible. My bests, Mike
Now he mentions the neck is not straight. Might have put me off a bit.
 15. Ok, need to shift it. £230 picked up in London. Cheers! r
 16. Well I joined a Stoner rock band, the grabber is great and all but very difficult to buy strings for. The extra scale length and string thru bridge and tuning to Drop C limits my options, this should solve it
 17. Ahh to be honest I will likely keep it as is! I need a real beater!
 18. Already on this a few days ago and its close to me for pickup Outta the way everyone! I have put a fairly high bid on it.
 19.
I really want one of these, had any cut outs at gig volume? Fancy some sort of partial trade for my orange bass terror
Nope, never had any issues live or at home. It is sound. Really depends how much money my way, I am mostly after the money as there is something on Ebay I have my eye on.
 20.
These the same jobs that Om use currently?
If I said yes, would it make a difference?
 21.
Is this a standard C neck and P width nut ((1.75")? Lovely looking bass
Yes, yes and yes!
 22. That S2 is my old one. Not quite standard spec though, Burl maple top with Walnut/Walnut sandwich if I remember rightly. The walnut gave it a darker woodier sound then the average Status.
 23.
Hey man, Into pronounced mids so thats cool! but what's the low end like on this? cheers
http://www.dimarzio.com/pickups/bass Scroll down to the bottom. Loads of low end.
