2. Bass Pod XT live (floor version) for sale. Looking for £125 + postage A1 condition as its been barely used (hence sale). Boxed with manual, power supply and data cable.
 3.
Bump, as this never sold and I'm considering offers again now
You'll probably have a bit more luck if you advertise this in the dedicated lefty thread at the top of the for sale thread. However, it looks a lovely bass - did you have a price in mind? If you are looking for jazz trades are you looking just for American or would you look at Jap/Mexican too?
 4.
Its MASSIVELY appealing but my band could not pull in 200-300 punters sadly ... and I suspect therein lies the rub for most of us Best of luck with this
Cheers Clarky!!
 5. All fair points, so thanks for flagging these up. Guess maybe I thought the appeal of doing a show at that venue for a good sized audience was more appealling than it seems from an outside perspective. Its good to get different views on things - I guess thats why we're all here! Perhaps I should provide some further explanation... I put in a 'requirement' to be able to pull a crowd because, to be frank, a venue of that size is expensive and also looks rubbish half-empty. If there are three bands playing then they would all need to pull their weight in terms of bringing a crowd and 200+ is what each band would need to bring in. I've organised these each year for the past 5 years, in increasing sized venues - from Bush Hall to Indigo2. We underwrite the hire costs and all the organisation costs and in return some 'up and coming' bands get to play a venue they wouldn't otherwise be able to, and generally to an audience much larger than they have played previously. Its a good fun thing to do. I found it interesting how the charity aspect attracted the most comments. Basically the event breaks even and of what is left over we give some away. We don't seek backing of the charities - we just write them a cheque. A couple of years ago we put an air conditioning unit into the Renal Unit at St George's hospital, then we did a larger cancer charity, then the following year we made a loss. So, best to put the charity aspect aside and just look at it as a gig opportunity (which is how I intended my original post). Cheers all.
 6. No one interested?? Thought there would be loads of interest in this.
 7.
hey mate, what's the charitable aspect? any more info?
Unclear at the moment, its still early days, but a donation of a proportion of sales has been talked about, although no cause was decided upon.
 8. Copied up from 'Gigs' Section.... Evening All, I'm organising an event booked in at Shepherds Bush Empire for a Friday in late July and our first choice of support band dropped out so we have a slot available. I'd much rather give what is a great opportunity to someone on BC than pick a random act from elsewhere, so if you fancy it then please PM me with descriptions/links etc. Here's the deal: Its a 3 act event and we're looking for the main support act, ideally for a 40min slot Originals bands preferred - something rock/indie ideal. There will be a charitable aspect to the gig so ticket sales are important. You must be able to shift at least 200-300 tickets without struggling, and be able to demonstrate that you can do that. That probably means that you're from the London area, or already famous You'll need to be amenable to a degree of gear-share, and be nice guys (that includes any guitarists! ) In return you'll get: A top slot in a proven event, with hopefully 1000 punters lapping up your creative genius Being able to say that your next/last gig was at Shepherds Bush Empire (Possibly) a multitrack recording of the gig that you can mix together (haven't worked out the technicalities yet) So, anyone keen? I can't labour enough that you need to be able to shift the tickets as otherwise the whole event with fall flat, but if this sounds like you then please get in touch Cheers Nick

 10.
I'd be potentially interested in the 1615 on the account of it being an EV loaded one. PM me with details. I need another 1615, but only if its an EV one. Also, the 1615 I have is a single 4ohm output on mines... but it has been an age since I have so much as looked at it, so might be wrong
Well I might be interested in the 400+ (but not the cab) so maybe there's a deal to be done here?
 11.
Oh yeah, if anyone has a Thumb 5 string and is wanting to downgrade to a Thumb 4 string I'd be interested in a trade (including a cash adjustment of course)
Hi Josh, I've got a BO 5 string and have toyed with the idea of letting it go for sometime. Its in absolute A1 condition and comes with a custom pelican case (so indestructable). Trouble is that I'm just finalising my learnlist for the next year and there may (finally) be a couple of 5 string songs on there. Are you looking urgently, or shall I just keep this in mind for once I know whether she'll get a runout this year?
 12. I have always always wanted one of these so have a bump on me Amazing cabs
 13. Bump from me! Great amp - never let me down. Oodles of headroom. I do miss it sometimes....

 15.
I didn't know you were the Cry For Silence bassist, probably saw you once, but I can't remember where or supporting who! Enjoy the gig!!
Yeah, likewise. I think I saw you with Gun last year. Great gig. Always nice to see someone local doing well too, being a Pinner/Hatch End boy myself.
 16.
That's a very cool little box. Shame it's not quite little enough!
Price or physical size?
 17. Radial Tonebone Switchbone. As new condition. Pretty much unused and no wear and tear. A/B/Y switcher with ground lift and fully isolated to eliminate ground loops. Mute function and gain boost for solos etc. Tuner output. Mains powered. £100 posted.
 18. Thanks Jamie - I've sent him an email. Much appreciated.
 19. Morning, We've got a wedding gig at Corfe Castle in November and not only can our regualr engineer not make it, but neither can our back-up guy. Does anyone know of a quality engineer in the area that I could get in touch with? It doesn't need to be big (2.5kw FOH?) but we need a full foldback setup as we don't carry backline. Cheers Nick
 20. As the original owner of the rack I can confirm that its the real deal. Custom rack that would survive ANYTHING! Tayste is a great guy to deal with too.
 21. Last bump for our gig as its this Friday.
 22.
Scream Studios have just started putting gigs on, bit out of the way (down by southe Croydon tucked down an alley, but no stab vest required honest) but worth a look.
Thats where we rehearse. Didn't realise there were so many BC'ers familiar with the delights of CR0.
