I recently bought a set of these, they're Edifier S351DB's. They're a great sounding set, they have a choice connection options, inc 3.5 jack, Bluetooth or Optical. They're a bit pricey at £249, but well worth it, besides what the other half doesn't know won't kill me will it?

I'm mainly play finger style, but when I use a pick I use these. IMHO They are far better for grip than any of the other brands I've tried. Available in many thicknesses here. https://www.guitarsuperstore.com/snarling-dogs-105-c.asp

Took a punt on this Vintera II Early 60's model just under a month ago, the neck shape has took a bit of getting used too, but it's a lovely thing, Fender Ensenada have really upped their game over recent years.

I'd never noticed before, but my Group III Ernie Ball flats are near enough the same. -
I recently bought my first set of these strings, they feel great and are definitely the smoothest flats I've ever used. One thing I was wary of though is, the warning they have on their pack. Only the silk portion of the string should wrap around the tuning post or the string will break. No problem I thought, it never usually is then this....

Just like that Fiesta Red Classic Vibe in our Basses For Sale thread. I've been hoping somebody would buy it, as it's tempting me and I really can't justify buying either. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/2219533381734448/

IIRC it's their first version of the Stingray, meant to be 100 watts. It's also the first proper, a term I use loosely, bass amp I owned back in 1981, I think I paid £50 for it. I put it through a Marshall 4x15 and gigged it, it coped ok, in a four piece , but once we became a two guitar 5 piece, it was lacking. I don't recall the Red or the Black Hi - Mid - Low push buttons doing very much, maybe they were f***ed, maybe the whole amp was on it's last legs! I replaced it with a 1978 Marshall JMP 100 watt Super Bass head, that was warm and loud, I wish I still had it!

Not my first by far, but the longest I've owned (2012) of my current crop.
