I picked up a Zoom B1 for peanuts, originally just for messing around with. But the longer I've had it the more appealing it's become to use it in place of my EHX collection. I know the EHX pedals have the edge on sound and ease of adjustment, but for the covers band the idea of setting patches for those songs that I use effects on rather than tap dancing on several pedals seems the right way to go. Plus I can throw it in a Gig Bag rather than carting my pedalboard to rehersals. I'm getting a real urge to part with my EHX pedals and put the cash towards something else, but I'm not sure if I will regret it in the long run.

Latest is the guy beat me on a Kay precision (he got it for £40 or somewhere near that. He's managed to snap the truss rod, and is selling the neck and body seperate...!!!??? £30 ish for a neck with a truss rod that he has shafted with his innept attempts at refurbishment....

I bought a body from ebay which was a ply, and it weighed a ton.

If I throw in the two cabs, wireless system and pedals my rig tops over £1000.

Does anyone have any idea's/pointers/previous experience of organising a one-off charity gig? I had a mad idea the other day, and the more I think about it the more its niggling me. Would love to do a charity gig for the charity "Scotty's Little Soldiers" who work with kids that have lost a parent in the military - was set up by a lady who lost her husband in Afghan. This is all just in my head at the moment - I know I could get my band to play for free, and have a few tenous connections to follow up just need a few pointers/things to think about/watch out for etc etc

Think all mine together are probably worth 500! Thats all seven of them...

When I see something like this on ebay I always wonder WHY they dont put it in a specialist Auction if it's genuine.
