1. Cheers guys, yeah it's a lovely bass and I've REALLY had to think hard about selling it.....but of all my basses it's the least used nowadays and as I said above, I need the bass tokens for another bass!!!!
2. Ps..this was a keeper and is I my going Because I have a chance to grab a bass I've wanted since the 80's!!!!
3. I have more photos if required but am on holiday in devon until Saturday and I think then have mice running in a Wheel to power the internet down here :-(
4. NOW SOLD I'm looking for a quick sale of my wax blue finish Warwick streamer bolt on 1996. This was the short lived bolt on model before the lx, it has the wenge neck and slimmer body profile of the older streamers and THAT growl!. The neck is a dream and slim compared to the later cricket bat necks warwick did! I've owned it since about 2001 and its been gigged and has a few marks but nothing horrible considering its age... Looking for £700 and will throw in a hiscox case as well. I'm based in high wycombe, bucks.
5. I've been guilty of overusing (is that possible?) my basses and then moving onto the next. I've recently come to the conclusion that I should be rotating my four (Warwick Streamer 5, Fortress 4, Spector NS5LX and Aria pro11 Eite) for gigs and rehearsals... all VERY Different basses but with some knob twiddling on bass and amp I can get the thump I like out of all of them. The fact that they all look/feel/play differently just makes it more interesting!!............. I would have more but four appears to be my 'one in one out' limit..
6. Steve, try Al's orange terror and you better not get your hands on an 800 before me!!! GAK told me last month that they're expecting them in stock some time in January (MB800 fusion that is!) mines going to go through a Gen3 BIG TWIN 2 :-)

8. Well they're not REALLY high end but my two Warwicks have been gigged to death and my go to bass now is a USA Spector ns5 I got second hand off here, If I could afford another brand new USA Spector it'd still get beer and sweat on it at pub gigs, I'd still do neck bends and it'd have knocks on it, basses are for playing not hiding away in a case... having said that I do baby them between weekend gig abuse
9. it would be the last paint job Julian ever did......
10. You want one like mine, I saw you staring longingly at it on Saturday night................and if you go off the natural finish paint it :-)
11. Ah man! I'd love this amp to go with the Spector I bought off you :-) unfortunatley all spare cash is going on the house :-( The Spectors going great guns by the way!
12. Top amp, I've used one as my main gigging amp for about 9 years, love it to death!
13. https://fbcdn-sphoto...5_2027950_n.jpg Here's my two lovelies in blue, had the Fortress on the right from new in 93 and the streamer bolt on (old name for the LX) since about 2001, its a 95 model. Gigged them both loads and the streamer is showing it now so my main bass is the one in the middle :-)
14. ah man, Pete serviced my basses for years and always gave me grief for not actually owning a Wal, one day I caved in and said alright then how much for a Mach111 5 string? he said £1800 cash? so I went on the waiting list.................................................about 3 years later I got a call from Paul offering to fullfill the order VAT free for £3999........................bugger. Oh how I wish I'd got off my arse and actually given Pete a deposit to get his arse in gear :-) Loved Pete, mad professor but complete genius.
15. and very nice it is to, got to have a good old look yesterday and it looks even better in the flesh :-)
16. I use my Spector NS5 XL, Warwick Stream or Fortress and occassionally an my Aria SB Elite just because, they're all insured and as people have said before whats the point of having them if you dont gig them? I still jump round like a prat with the Spector!!
17. I owned an Aria SB Elite1 in pearl white back in the 80's but sold it for about £200 with the original case in 1993 when I bought my first Warwick (which I still have and love and will beat anyone to death if they ever try to take it from me..........including my wife!) The thing is I regretted it almost straight away as I had a nasty Charvel as well but kept that?!? Anyway, 2 months ago I bought Cocco's Elite2 off here so I'm a happy man again and I remember why I liked it so much, I also really can't work out why I sold it as it was my main bass! I've also never sold another bass since (apart from the Chavel because it was awful but at the time very rock)
18. I cannot believe you're having trouble shifting this!!!! I've said it before and I'll say it again, just the most amazing bass I have ever owned! BUMP
19. bumpty bump, I have #53 and love it, good luck, lovely basses!
