  1. just a note when i did it, it was an older 'r' reg model not a newer shape
  2. if its 3 door, not sure but ive had one in the back of a 5 door before with the boot tied with a bit of rope, it was ages ago, ithink i had to severly adjust the passenger seat too.
  3. trade agreed, pending the usual
  4. a bold move indeed, i did the same when i sold my swr rig. a big risk but it paid off for me big time, youre gonna love them mids!
  5. bump, open to other trades, guitar stuff or cymbals, recording gear etc

    Behringer

im not a big behringer fan(mainly due to some of the pa stuff), however i used to have a bass v-amp pro used with a chevin power amp and it was great! i eventually sold it to 'upgrade' to a line 6 bass pod and was never happy with it live, it lasted about 2 months and i got rid cos it sounded poo.
  7. or an 8 string maybe (octaves)
  8. my wife bought me this brand new for christmas, it plays great and is in mint condition (was £349) i have only played it a few times and have decided this pickup combination is not for me. would like to trade for something with a p/j pickup combination of simelar ish value (would consider somthing with only a p bass style pickup too) trade ideally! its surplus to requirements at the moment for me really and iv had a couple of enquiries so i may sell £250 is a bit of a bargain considering it was new for christmas, cheers (can post, still have original box) [attachment=97093:Photo0715.jpg] [attachment=97094:Photo0717.jpg] [attachment=97095:Photo0766.jpg] [attachment=97096:Photo0767.jpg] [attachment=97092:barefaced super 12 rh750 n.JPG]
  9. if you dont mind travellin a bit, Richard Tompson based in Wigan does 1st class setups and repairs, ive had several setups and some fretwork done and was perfect for my requirements every time. http://www.tomsonguitars.co.uk/
  10. iv got an old westone thunder 1a lying about..........hmmmmm....................ideas..........bass trem....... plus silly led's maybe........
  11. i want this, but i would die at the hands of my loving wife.
  12. Greetings and welcome!!
  13. nice!, Primus rule
  14. dont forget the super12 has tilt back wheels too!
  15. sounds cool, its a shame i'm too far away. good luck with the search.
  16. buy one!, i did and it was the best use of monies that i have ever.....er..done? ignore my ramblings, believe the hype. this little beauty replaced my full SWR stack (Goliath III 4x10 and Big Ben 1x18) and now im louder and clearer with no noticable loss in bottom end and less than a quater of the weight. all i need now is a barefaced compact for the ultimate in trouser loosening raw bass dominance!!!!!!! (laughing insanely at self)
  17. iv never liked any Trace Elliot stuff, it all sucks in my opinion but if i turn up to a gig where an Ashdown rig is supplied i would happily trade for a trace. additional, anyone up for contributing to a new Ashdown hate topic? i could get really nasty on that one, far more deserving of my contempt.
  18. +1 on the BF super 12T, easily the best cab i have ever owned!
  19. Awesome , i still marvel at the sound everytime i fire mine up! a superb choice!
  20. i had a goliath III and a big ben 1x18 i have recently downsized to a barefaced super twelve and i dont feel that i have lost anything in the sound (with a little bit of EQ tweaking) the best thing i have ever done!
  21. cheers both join my band and partysounds look promising. on with the search! Ta!
  22. im looking for potential guitarists and vocals for a metal band ive spent many hours on the internet now trying to find good musicians to fill the gaps in a melodic/thrash/prog metal thing in the lancashire/manchester area but im struggling. most of the websites i find have awefull search engines and very few folk into metal on them. do you have any suggestions. thanks in advance!
  23. pm;'d with info!
  24. i have properly installed front and side led's in green on my Vester argus bass, its the best thing i have ever done! visibilty is never a problem now even in too.bright/dark stage conditions (or when my hair is in the way) i never want to play any of my other basses now i dont think i could live without them. overall expensive but definitly worth it. i have seen the fretfx ones in the flesh and they seem pretty cool for the cash but not a patch on the real thing.
  25. Domination - Symphony x nearly there, not quite fully up to speed yet. the intro feels faster to play than it sounds to me.
