1. 100 sounds about right, if i hadn't just bought a new rig i would be happy take it off your hands for that price.
2. ive got a korg dtr 2000 perfect condition £120 if anyone is interested +p&p
3. RH750, i just got one and i love it, i have tried the rh450( not the classic though) which is great but even at low volumes the 750 seems to have more weight to it, and better top end too. i prefere both of these over any markbass head i have tried, i think they are just not for me. my advise is try one out. it goes silly loud too!
4. looking forward to hearing your thoughts, im biding my time at the moment before i shell out for a compact.
5. im not a line 6 fan but the m9 looks pretty cool, ill have to try one out. the true bypass thing is excellent as it will be bypassed 90+% of the time. many thanks.
6. greetings to all, ive just upgraded my rig which is now lovely and light (th rh750 & barefaced super 12t) its time to sort my effects out, ive had a quick look at the usual suspects (boss/zoom/etc) but cant seem to find what im after im using the effects loop on the amp so ideally i want true bypass or at least a very clean signal path - this is the most important thing for me. i use very few effects but it would be nice to have chorus, phaser, flange, delay, reverb, maybe a doubler or pitchshift (to get that 8 string sound) and wah i dont need any amp modelling, drive effects, or compression as im happy with the tone of my bass and amp combination must be a floor based unit ideally a nice compact unit to do all would be best, does such a beast exist? for the right piece of kit the price doesnt matter, although i would prefere not to be paying for loads of features that i would never use. thanks in advance. Winterfire666 additional, my benchmark for effects quality is a yamaha rev500 studio rack unit (awesome unit) i found that when you turn off all the unwanted stuff on a lot of multieffects pedals, what you are left with really isnt that great. line 6 bass pod xt was a dissapointment without the amp sims on and the gt6b sounded lifeless and when you bypass it sucks your tone.
7. get a 1 or 2u brass plate and take it to a machine shop to get your band name /logo cut out (and rackmount holes) and then backlight for an awesome one of a kind amp rack!!! i did with a previous band and it looked awesome. not practical but very cool.
8. yep, it doesnt work for me at all.
9. have you tried mono gig bags? very light, great protection and i think a GB shuttle 6.0 would fit (although i would double check first) http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/MONO_Bags.html
10. New bass rig!!!!! i decided to get rid of my trusty SWR stack (workingpro700/goliath iii/big ben) in favour of a more compact and lightweight alternative A barefaced Super twelve T and TC rh750!! http://www.flickr.co.../in/photostream http://www.flickr.co.../in/photostream ive had this for only a few days but im impressed at the sheer volume this little rig can produce the old rig had quite a sound but i dont feel that ive lost anything in the change, in fact this is just as loud with more punch and bottom end clarity i play a lot of steve harris style fast finger work and the mids on the super 12 cut through the mix with vengance! and the TC head is so versatile, i feel ive yet to unlock the potential of this little beauty the best thing is the whole rig weighs about the same as the fully loaded 4u rack i was using!! All i need now is a compact, just for sillyness.
11. that looks a bit like this one which is even cheaper http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/vintage-arbiter-twin-neck-sg-6-4-bass-and-6-string-/130582614428?_trksid=p4340.m263&_trkparms=algo%3DDLSL%252BSIC%26its%3DI%26itu%3DUCI%252BIA%252BUA%252BFICS%252BUFI%252BDDSIC%26otn%3D8%26pmod%3D260861272515%252B260861272515%26po%3D%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D3285576576662904323
12. is that not just peaveybass.com in disguise nowadays
13. Chevin research A series, hands down the best lightweight amp iv ever used for bass, so loud i was banned from using it at several venues! A1000 is 2 x 600w @4ohms A500 is 2 x 350w @4ohms (only 1u rack space) you should be able to get one for that money or less used easily ....... if you can find one just seen this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CHEVIN-RESEARCH-A1000-AMPLIFIER-/360398668675?pt=UK_MusicalInstr_Amplifiers_RL&hash=item53e96f4383
14. wilkinson do some good quality stuff and they are cheap and the gotoh quick release one is solid and still cheaper than the schaller
15. i would stick with the spector.
16. Dont do it!, or maybe its for you.... ive owned a couple of each didnt like the warwick necks(too chunky) in general, loved the spector but then it depends on the model i have neither now and am happy.

21. i have a pair of Zoom Abyss Wildzap Water effect lights going unsed at the mo im making some space so £60 for the pair Bargain they have a few scuffs from bieng moved about but nothing serious both in good working order and the bulbs have probably had about 5hrs use they are 250w halogen bulbs which are brighter than the LED ones (unless you spend silly money) great for those chilled out song sections they cycle between various coulours but can be fixed on a colour of your choice Collection only due to weight and fragile nature of the bulbs (darwen Lancashire) the blue pic is a stock photo showing the effect as i cant get a great pic with my camera in the dark
