1. I have this head and it's quality! Good luck with the sale, that's a bargain.
2. Thunder 1A in original(?) case - £100 http://www.gumtree.com/london/45/74882045.html I've just sold mine and wish I had the funds to get this!
3. Aria Pro fretless - The photo is terrible, but it looks like a good bass could be got on the cheap here.
4. Was that in Gwdihw in Cardiff? missed it dammit!
5. I forgot to mention, tyre kickers, novices and waffles welcome.....!
6.
What excellent taste you have - superheadless and a dotty blue theme. Here's my contribution to the same thing. Your logos may be gone due to wear and tear? Mine are jazz types so I can't advise on your version.
Checked it out - no logos on these covers. Nice bass!
7.
What's wrong with the stringing process?
Single ball end strings - so you have to feed them through the holes at the end and pull them all at the same time to keep some tension while refitting the bar with your other hand. It's tricky! Unless someone knows of an easier way.....
8. My new baby - A Super Headless As a point of interest, my pick up covers do not have the logo on them - are they meant to? It's a 1988 version. Cheers!
9. Got myself a Westone Super Headless off of Gumtree yesterday.....pups need a respray but other than that, sounds and looks amazing! Came with the original case too! Will take more photos when I've done the pups - which i'm not in a hurry to do because re-stringing is a NIGHTMARE!!!!
10. I'm going to bring my newly purchased Super Headless - can't wait!
11. Thunder 1A in good condition, strung with new fender flatwounds if that makes any difference to ya. Will come in a gig bag too and well packaged etc if you need it posting. I said I'd always keep this but another beaut has popped up and I need to fund buying that! Luckily it's another Westone so I don't feel like too much of a traitor.... Questions/viewings welcome

13. Such a shame that a large chunk of the videos have been removed by youtube - could you please post the Artist/track title alongside the title so at least if they are removed we can still look them up! Anyway - here's one of my favourites. Gwen McRae - All this love.
14.
Bump for price drop. Will trade for combos?
PM'd
15. Played 2 sets with 2 different bands last night, the silly covers band went down great as did the ska band and we were tighter than a gnats crotchet. Good Times! Oh, and our singer used a handy helium balloon to help her with My Boy Lollipop - Genius!
16. We (Gregg Price and the Wilson 5) were ace last night! Well, apart from the drummer forgetting the intro's to most of the songs. Crowd were a bit hard to get going as we were on 1st and it was an engagement party, but we got them up after a bit. Best bit - The segue from Nouvelle Vague's version of Ever Fallen in Love in to the original and seeing athe old folks faces when they realised they couldn't leave the dance floor and had to carry on! Good work chaps!
17.
Bass cabinet. Super high quality. Made by JBL. Consists of one 15 inch Ampeg/Eminence speaker in its own compartment within the box, which is ported, and one 10 inch Ampeg speaker in its own compartment within the box. This is a passive cabinet, with two JBL passive crossovers contained within, comprising of one crossover for the 15 inch speaker and one crossover for the 10 inch speaker. The cabinet is 8 ohms. This box is made of 13 ply birch ply and extremely robust. It has metal recess handles and metal corners and metal speakon jack socket on the back. It has a metal grille, this is a superb sounding box and is an absolute bargain at £100. The cabinet resides in North London and can be delivered locally within reason. No endless PM messages. No tyre kickers or waffling novices. Please telephone 020-7272-2068 or 020-7561-1347
I'd love to buy this but I'm not sure I'm experienced enough - also I like waffles. Shall I inconvenience you by sending you a message instead?
18. Had an ace gig last night in The Globe even though we had to cut our set short to 30mins as the band before us were amazing and the crowd wouldn't let them finish! Same again tonight please! EDIT: The support band were The Cougar - check them out! And they were really cool guys and had a good bass geek chat with their bass player afterwards.
19. A while back I thought I'd save a few quid by bying a behringer tuner. After a month, the power input stopped working so I could only use batteries - which lasted about 1 gig. Not such a saving - Now use my Pod for tuning!
20. We're playing a benefit gig at The Globe for Oasis Refugee centre in Cardiff. Support comes from The Cougar, who are an ace afrobrat band and an Ethiopean choir. Should be a good night! Linky EDIT: It's this Thursday!

22. Interesting looking Jedson
23.
I almost bought some Luminlay sticks but did a bit of googling first and ended up buying some paint http://www.glowstop.com/products/others/gt3gp.html And some raw pigments, here's the 2 brightest ones http://www.glowstop.com/products/pigments/gt8900.html http://www.glowstop.com/products/pigments/gtb8900.html I bought the blue one. I'm thinking I may be able to fill a dot hole with pigments and crazy glue, if that doesn't work well I'll try the paint. Both will be tested on a piece of scrap first of course If they will charge enough under stage lights to get me through moments of darkness I'll call it a success. I don't need the searchlight levels of an LED, just a little glow that will tell me where the dots are on those rare occasions that I need them. I'll post some pics as I go.
I bought the 100ml bottle from my local art shop for £3. Works well enough
