  1. Madness lines are really cool and go to some unexpected places!
  2. Looks like 17.5 or 18mm
  3. Looking at the front of bass. ( not wearing it). Left to right. Treble Bass and Volume. Lower row is. BALANCE. The switches are.. Top.. Dual coil, Parallel Mid.. Single coil Bottom.. Dual coil, series
  4. If it was the recent ad it was a five string @elbassisto was after.
  5. Really nice Patrick Eggle Milan V in a unique colour with upgraded pre amp. Only getting rid as I'm thinning the herd and my Maruszczyk gets all the attention now. Good condition with just one dink on the top of the body and a smaller dent on the lower horn. Great hardware on this, is a lovely player and has been a useful back up bass for a while. Welcome to come try out in Cardiff.
  6. As the title says, a Trace Elliot T-Bass in black. I've had this for nearly 10years now and it's been a faithful companion on many gigs. Lovely slim neck, currently strung with funkmasters so it's super fast to play. Pretty lightweight in feel and a huge range of tones in the Status pre-amp, I've used this on all genres from reggae to disco to rock. It's got the odd knock or two and the scratch plate is split and this is reflected in the price. Not desperate to get rid as it's always had a use but thinning the herd as I've had a few new additions. Any questions let me know, welcome to come and try in Cardiff. Comes with Status gig bag. (I'm pretty sure it does anyway, will have to check the attic)
  7. Possibly the sweatiest gig I've ever played, depping in on a disco tribute at a pub festival in Glastonbury. Love the house rig too 🥰
  8. For my funk/Latin/jazz band we change 50% of the set every gig but here's the latest iteration (the last 2 tracks are to go with a separate performance so not part of the set)
  9. The people in the UK Touring Crew Facebook group will have experience and be happy to help. 🙂
  10. Oof bargain. Pop it on the UK Touring Crew Facebook page and someone will buy it straight away.
  11. Yes please. DM'd
  12. I knew Burke, but for a good while I had no idea of his significance or even that he was a bass player. He would often attend local jam nights and gigs and was always incredibly supportive. He is much missed.
  13. Lots of their nonsense in the eBay threads, my current favourite is https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/185638233576
  14. Hard case included
  15. 1983 Yamaki made Daion Mark X B. Very rare version and indeed there are no other recorded cases of this version. Pre amp was added by the original owner shortly after purchase in 1984 and is believed to be a Kent Armstrong. It's seen service as a gigging bass over the last 40 years and as such has some dings and marks. Plays extremely well and has a comfortable asymmetric neck. Would much prefer people try it out before buying but if you need it posting let me know. Edit: comes with original hard case!
  16. Soooo, it's a very effective visual performance then?
  17. Reminds me of Rodrigo y Gabriela
  18. Nice gig at the Eisteddfod in Tregaron. Big stage, great sound. Had to do some jazzy remixes of some tracks as it's Welsh language only on stage and our singer sings in Susu and Manding with only a couple of tunes in Welsh.
  19. Should drink more water then
  20. Me and the guitarist came up with Pschidyllic if anyone wants to start up a far out folk band
  21. I dunno, they must have been pretty dexterous to remove them all and get away with it
  22. 7. Agency arranged the wrong visa ( we should have been playing in Sardinia next week) 😭
  23. I was tempted to hold an interactive stage diving workshop
