The same happened to me with my shuttle six, when playing a festival last year. It's the only time I've had a problem when using this amp, so I put it down to the generator.

Very nice. some Warwicks leave me cold, but that is lovely.

Shame mate. Sure Andy will be as helpful as usual. Like I said I love mine and haven't noticed any lacking in top end, but maybe the shuttle six and markbass cabs help to give me the sound I like. Good luck with tonights gig. Gary.

I've been using the Shuttle 6 for the last couple of years and have been extremely pleased. It has proved very reliable and plenty loud enough for my needs. No issues so far, other than a crackly master volume knob, which I think a few of them have suffered from. All sorted with some switch cleaner. On one gig it got a bit sulky and cut out momentarily, but we were being powered by a generator, which I think was the problem. I've been using it with Mark Bass cabs so not sure how helpful my opinion can be given you cab choice is very different. Are you after getting the same sound as your current amp or something different? All the best, Gary

Dave. You will be delighted I'm sure. I fitted 84's to my Squier Jazz a couple of years back and have sinced played many a gig with it. To my ears it has sounded just right, suitably turbo charged but not harsh. Other bass players and even guitarists have complimented me on the sound.

Just shown this thread to my wife, to ensure a moan free future.

Yes remember when I discovered that on my trace. Suddenly had the sound I wanted when gigging. Still miss my trace rig, but not the weight.

I've been test driving a few Ibanez bassess recently and last week tried out a secondhand edb600. I was impressed by the build quality and the weight. Sounded good plugged in, although a little dull when played acoustically but that was probably down to the strings being a bit tired. I'm interested on opinions about this particular mode and Ibanez in general. I have found sound reviews on line, but I'm keen to get BC'ers views. Thanks in advance. Gary

I like to keep one foot in contact with the kick drum legs/stand, that way I can really feel it.

Use them a lot myself, very useful.
