2.
Might need to move the pups though, that's one DEEP / MID sounding bass there. Probably best not played through an Ampeg, unless you want the world to implode.
Ha ha:)
3. I think it's beautiful. Nowhere near worth the money. I'd give £220 on a good day, that's not an offer if you're reading.
4. I'm sure spaces record company could have clubbed together and bought them a real fender this guy is a stalker, buyers beware.
5. I'd be very careful with this one fellas. This is the 3rd or 4th time it's been relisted. Each time it sold but the buyer never materialised. I can swallow that line once but something stinks after the 2nd and third time. I contacted the seller to enquire about this but quel surprise there was no response. Tread with caution, if something looks too good to be true then it probably ain't true.
6. I feel ill, it actually made my head ache. It confused my eyes, its like something pulled from hellboys anus.
7.
so why should that stop anybody buying another one??
?????????????????
8. That is absolutely beautiful. Good luck with it mate.
9. Bought some guitar bits and pieces from hong kong for cheaper than seems legal on the bay. All arrived in good condition. I was quite pleased. What ya gotta remember is these eastern traders are so desperate to tap into the western Market that they daren't put a foot wrong, negative feedback for these guys would be instant Hari-Kari. Trade with confidence. Everything you buy in the Uk comes from these guys anyway so all you are doing is cutting out the middle man.
http://basschat.co.uk/topic/159005-odd-looking-p-bass-on-ebay/ Been flagged on here before by the looks of it.
Yep I saw that I'm surprised it's still on there and doing so well. Didn't somebody report it as a fake to eBay? To be fair it's a lovely guitar but it's an obvious fake, somebody is gettin ripped off here big time.
12. £17.50 all in, how much is a bag of coal.
13.
If the execution had been better (considerably better), that might have made a nice unusual instrument.
Yes I agree if the guy who did this was executed before he started the outcome would have been much better. Not sure crack was the drug of choice here. This looks more like the intense whittling of a crystal meth addict. I heard a story once about this guy on crystal meth who whittled his foot into the shape of a hand so he could climb trees like a monkey.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fender-Squier-VIntage-Modified-Fretless-Jazz-Bass-/250921468799?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item3a6c15c37f That one? A squier Vintage Modified it aint, a "Vintage" as in the manufacturer it is.
Now that should be reported, I haven't got it in me though. Bloody cheek all the same. Funny how people never make mistakes that downplay their instruments. Like a 51 p bass listed as a squier with logo jobby.
15. Can't get the link up but has anyone noticed the "squier vintage modified" for sale with the above details.
16. Maybe the guy doesn't know. He probably got suckered himself. Has anyone contacted him.
17. mmmmmmmmmmmm..........? now thats plain and simply taking the p!$$.
18. I suggest the claim of a bereavement in the family should prompt us to handle this case quite sensitively guys. This may be a genuine case of "not knowing" what they are selling.
19. I agree it appears hes using association to distract from the truth. Nice looking guitar but I think you are right Bob, well spotted.
20. Ugly. That sanded corner is ridiculous looking. The paint job is the kind of thing you love or hate and I don't love it.
21. I reckon someone got a good deal there. If you sell them on individually you would end up with a guitar or two for free. Worth the effort I think we will agree.
22.
The dumb person not checking can still push up my bid, so he is trying to screw me too.
Hi mate. Not if you are happy to pay your max bid and no more. If you are outbid then it's someone elses problem and as long as you don't get caught up in bidding hysteria(which is the addictive aspect) then you are safe. This guy is using a sneaky way of fixing a feeless reserve. Maybe I'm wrong here and I'm not seeing things clearly or maybe it's because I'm the type of guy who roots for the bad guy in a movie. Either way I don't get what this guy is doing thats so terrible.
23.
I'm not a thief though.
Meeeoww................nobodies calling you a thief, granted I did imply you were a tell tale(apologies). Anyway stop being so serious it's only a bit of banter. The phrase honour amongst thieves represents solidarity amonst the little man in medieval times under an oppressive monarchy. The lower classes would habitually rob the ruling classes to survive however under no circumstances would they steal from each other, hence honour amongst thieves.
