Anybody see this documentary last night. Glenn Frey came across as a real asshole. It was quite clear it was his and Henleys band. If you didn't do it their way, you were out. Interesting viewing though.

Fenders are a mans bass I find. Rickenbackers although not exclusively played by homosexuals are very much gay. This is merely my interpretation and I'm not putting it across to in any way slight homosexuality or its purveyors. You may notice I make no reference to my own sexuality so I could be observing from either side of the fence before anyone starts straddling the horse that is taller than the rest. It's weird I've always felt that way about these two brands. The others seem to all fall somewhere in between for me.

Watched Bruno Mars on bbc3 last night, live at Derry. Wow. His band is amazing. Tight as and they all look like they are having a great time. I haven't seen a performance as raw and earthy as that for years.

He's pretty cool alright. I hope he's not some stage school mickey mouse club type some A&R guy surrounded with the right people as I genuinely think he is a smooth operator, ie I hope it's not fabricated.

You are not being a fanny. Get some rubber blocks 2"x4"x2" ish. Secure them to the wall where the body would normally meet the wall. You would need to recess the fixing screwholes etc and it would look a little odd when the guitar isn't hanging but it would work a treat. I saw this at a bar we used to drink in, in Ireland and thought what a clever idea. I'm not sure if it was home manufactured or bought as it was quite well done but I'm sure it would be easy to replicate. Their walls were stone. Good luck.

There's a strong rhythmic connection between the left and right hand whilst fretting. This is lost when playing open strings. A lot of people experience disorientation or loss of rhythm etc when playing open strings. Try putting your fretting hand on the headstock when playing open notes and press in the same way you would whilst fretting. This really helps.

We've had this guy on before. Someone Sussed that he was selling a lot of guitars twice. Also a particular lady was placing the winning bid on a lot of his sales ie.....shady dealing. Sells a lot of nice guitars on eBay some are modified etc. I think this chip repair Is a really good idea. I hope it works out for him.
