1.
70's New York City Night life - The City that never sleeps. My take for this month. http://soundcloud.com/garrycribb/club-retro-75 Garry
Wow, that's awesome.
 2. Forgot to mention it is excellent for injecting life into old stereos by using a phone etc and a Bluetooth (Logitech in my case) adaptor to stream music. I haven't been using it as long as some dudes here but it is the best discovery I've made in a long time.
 3.
Gulp...... Might not enter after hearing the quality of the current entries. How do I transfer the link to my song from sound cloud.
Ignore this, I've worked out how to do it. I think. I was using the sound cloud app so there was no browser window etc etc...... I will enter my song in a couple of days once I get a chance to finish it at work. Is there a cutoff date? I've had a listen to the entries so far and they are a very hi standard. Well done entrants. I have a favourite already but I'm not saying yet.
 4.
You can do what? I've been using spotify for around 2-3 years now and love it. I don't buy music anymore, just stream which is glorious when I have signal (Usually good in central London). But I didn't know you can download music? Thats awesome!
There's an option to make the playlists available offline. Means you can listen to your favourite playlists without signal.
 5.
Thanks, Rob. I actually do a lot of that in real time, record it - then place it in the track. So I have in fact been gurning quite extensively.
Gulp...... Might not enter after hearing the quality of the current entries. 6. I might have a go then. Ill try and do it on my phone, that wAy I can do it at work.
 7.
Here's mine. Read the description of it to understand it better https://soundcloud.com/miltyg565/miltongrahambasschatbass
I like it Milty. No one has any lyrics in their pieces. Can there be lyrics? Are there rules? What's the deal? I have a chorus in my head for this picture.
 8.
I'm assuming you're talking about the tune Sam posted rather than the real person. It's not the best version of PoT that's out there... here's the original version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nsZ_1mPOuyk (which I think is quite a pretty tune) There's an article about the real Tracy here in which she talks about the tune: http://www.indyweek.com/indyweek/continuum/Content?oid=1190028
Thanks for that, you are right. It's much better and I really enjoyed it.
 9.
I was really looking forward to this, but after a listen, I'm quite disappointed with it. "Get Lucky" I absolutely adore and I really like "Giorgio" but that's it.
Booooooohhhhh..... It's great, best album of 2013 for me.
 10.
Do you mean that you don't understand my post? Are you just calling me by phone? (Hence the "Hello???") But to answer: yes, I feel that I am in the right topic. 1) Your literate text reminded a lot of Proust, so I proposed it was a quote from his most famous work. 2) As to the phones in the UK, it never ceases to amaze me how my British friends and connections have a reluctance against using the phone, claiming it is so expensive - even when a 50p call could well save them 50 quid. Me, I thought that phoning that little shop and buy it over the phone would be the thing to do. best, bert
Sorry, I didn't understand your post. It went a bit over my head mate. I get it now though. Touché, and well done.
 11.
. It's from "À la recherche du temps perdu" ("In search of lost time"), and I'm claiming my five sovereigns. Edit: Question: do phones exist in the UK? best, bert
Hello??? Are you in the right topic?
 12.
The more I read your posts , the more mysterious you become .
Lol.
 13.
OK. Any way the wind blows.
I know what you are up to but no matter how much you tempt me, I won't be lured as "it doesn't really matter to me, too-oo me... Bing bing, bing bong" I'm a weak fool. It's like my misspent youth all over again. Why couldn't I say no? Why can't I still? Am I temptations bitch? Is there nothing of me in my own life? Am I to be forever at sea adrift without a rudder? Is a whim my only compass? The North Star I am not. I have no fixed or resting quality. I have reached the end of the garden path and there is no one left to hold my hand, I am alone. What now?
 14. How can anybody love a cat. You know they would eat you if you were small enough. No exceptions. There's no loyalty from the little bar-stewards.....
 15.
No, it's just fantasy.
Phew!! That's ok. For a second there I thought I might be "caught in a landslide". As fun as this is, lets stop this now before somebody has the embarrassing job of trying to spell "scaramouche"????????
 16. Poor "Tracy" she sounds like one mixed up bitch.
 17. You are obviously not married. Lol.
 18.
How true. Sic transit gloria mundi.
Wow.... That is a beautiful saying. I've never heard it used in real life before. Is this real life? I'm going to throw it in at work a few times next week, might drop it into a few emails etc......
 19.
I was browsing a tiny local music shop the other day and in the window i saw an old 70s defretted, no name Japanese P copy, on sale for £75. Being curious i had to have a go. The experience was,, Weird to say the least. The bass was perfect, it crackled slightly, but what do you expect from an old £75 bass? It was for the simple reason that my fingers had no boundaries, no frets to stop me. For a few moments i was in awe, but coupled with the love of this new found freedom but also a dislike for change. It was a completely different animal. I regretting putting it back. So I'm going to finally retrieve it next weekend! Thanks, Sam
It will be gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First rule of love at first site is...... Once you've got her, never let her go.
 20.
I had recorded the bbc coverage and some of it was cringeworthy. Having said that, they have a certain swagger about them but Mick Taylor seemed, on occasion, to be on a different planet.
Yes he did, what was he wearing. He's the only one who weighed more than 9st. In fact I'd say he weighed the same as the rest of the band in total.
 21.
Well, I had to check as I like the 2 songs , so I watched again to make sure I wasn`t in a cider haze. Apparently someone said Virgin played the whole set, so maybe you saw it there. Whatever the case, I enjoyed the limited set twice. I really don`t mind if you point out where I am wrong as I have been on many occasion.
That wasn't my intention at all, I was simply enjoying the banter and trying to have the craic. I fookin love you Gumbo......
 22.
Heh, I'll ask my mate who was flying camera chopper for the upcoming Stones film shall I?
Wow that sounds like a cool job.
 23.
Why didn`t you want to say? You can always tell me if I am wrong, I won`t mind. Did you see it on TV? I have just watched the iplayer again, and no Paint it Black or Give Me Shelter .Looking at the set list, it was early and the tv coverage only started with Miss you.
You've been a busy little detective. Sorry mate I was certain they played gimme shelter on the tele. Alcohol and recollection have never been good bed fellows.
