"[/font][/color] [font="helvetica, arial, sans-serif"][color="#282828"]I would like to see something like this for Stolen Basses so anyone could have a quick look through, when buying a bass - anywhere! It would be a good historical data resource and a timely incentive for us to take some good pictures and record serial numbers, for the basses we own currently.[/color][/font]

I normally choose a bass I like, plug it in and , without switching on, play acoustically for a while. If I like it, and I usually know straight away, without waisting anymore time, I buy the amp! ;-)

Sorry to hear such a disheartening post. Which part of the country are you in? Just so no one else falls for the same trick. Where did they advertise as may have had to register to be part of some site? Any protection you can share may help others.
