Hi i saw them at Ilminster. The bass player on this tour is Alan Thompson ex-from John Martyn. I thought he played very well as it was only his second gig with Martin. I was talking to him during the break and he said he had signed up for the whole tour, I presume he was at the gig you were at, too?

Had a day of playing Jethro Tull, their music has been the background to my life. Was at Martin Barre concert and came home to news of Glenn's passing. So sad we will never see them together on stage again. God bless RIP Glenn Cornick. ' ... and the tune ends too soon for us all !'

Ok, I'm sure you have all been on tenterhooks waiting for the update on the new bass arrival. Well it now has, and it is beautiful ! How was it received? By my oldest son at the door to the delivery man . Phew strike one! .....My wife, she just sighed - and it turns out she was waiting on how to tell me, she had just bought a new bathroom cabinet for £500 ! Once I showed her this posting too , we read it and had a laugh together, so thanks guys ;-) Now, about the PJB combo I'm going to add ..................? B^D
