1. Dreaded GAS I'm afraid.
2. Many thanks guys.
3. My Mywatt 200 has to go. Don't want to, but there you go. 200w of pure valve tone. Sounds just like a Hiwatt, that's because it's a Hiwatt clone. Hand built by Max Webber in Germany. It comes with a Roqsolid cover and is in perfect condition. Also comes with a spare KT88. My Mywatt has never let me down performing flawlessly at every gig and it's pretty light for a valve head. All the info you might need can be found here, http://www.weber-amps.de/en/ Any questions just ask. Collection is good but I'm happy to post. Might consider trades or p/x, it depends on what you've got in mind. Here's some photos to wet the old appetite. 4. I've got access to a few, if you PM me an address, I'll put some in the post for you.
5. I've done a google search and apparently it will not work with garageband directly but there is an app called midibridge that allows the synthstation49 to work with garageband and lots of other programs and apps. Info here, http://www.audeonic.com/ and itunes.
6. That's a good question. I never tried and my lady has only got the synthstation app on her ipad. I'll try to find out.
7. Hold it on with cable ties and hot melt glue. You can drill through both boards for the cable ties.
8. Standard jack, left and right outputs and mini jack for headphones.
9. +1 for me too. A few gigs wouldn't hurt either.
10. Here, http://www.majelectronic.co.uk/ Not a great fan of ginger nuts though.
11. Don't they have a 3 year warranty?
12. At the most 3 months. If I don't, one will break.
13. Have you tried using a different lead?
14. Get one of these and give it a go. I did and it's easier than you might think. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Make-Your-Own-Electric-Guitar/dp/0953104907
15. If you've got to think about it, it's not the right thing to do. Sell the 88 Stingray.
16. Heh, I got them all right.
17. Also just gone back to Elites, 50 - 110 stainless. Tried a set of DRs, the red coated ones and on the 1st note of the 3rd set, on the 4th gig since fitting them, the E string broke. Won't be buying them again.
18. Thanks for that, only another 8 days to go and I may well be the proud owner of one. As to the original question, I think you can safely say that the 69er is well worth having. Our crew certainly thinks so, as it's so light, he never lets me carry / wheel it, insisting that he wants to do it for the novelty value of such a light cabinet.
19. That's strange, a Streamliner 900 is next on my shopping list. It does the job OK then?
20. You beat me by 22 minutes. I'm still liking mine a lot.
